Under the hood this is clean account abstraction done right.
Every XRPL address is deterministically mapped to a PersonalAccount proxy on Flare. A single XRPL Payment encodes the intent (payment reference / memo opcodes), FDC attests the exact transaction, and MasterAccountController dispatches it. No EVM private key, no FLR gas, no separate wallet — the XRPL signature becomes the sole authorization primitive for FXRP minting, vault deposits, swaps, or arbitrary PackedUserOperations.
XRPL is the control plane. Flare is the execution plane. That’s the architecture we shipped.
XRPL signs. Flare executes. ☀️
Flare Smart Accounts turn an XRP signature into a programmable command.
For builders, that means the user can stay in their XRPL wallet while @FlareNetworks handles the programmable execution behind the scenes.
One XRPL action can authorize a flow that reaches FXRP, DeFi, vaults, swaps or other smart-contract logic, without asking the user to manage a separate EVM wallet or hold FLR for gas.
XRPL signs. Flare executes.
@romain_scohy
Hey, thanks for laying everything out. FIP-16 changed Flare’s reward structure, so the lower delegation rewards you’re seeing are expected as incentives shifted more toward staking. Since delegation is still working and you’ve already moved 50K+ FLR to the P-Chain, the Data is invalid: Unrecognized error code” isn’t normal and can you confirm if you’re on the latest Firmare version?
Since this is your first time staking with your Ledger Nano S, which validator are you trying to stake with, and what staking duration did you select exactly ? @mortoom
3/ c) I have more than 50k to stake.
d) from here https://t.co/Kgc7irXFqo i have checked the validators that they have enough free space
e) I have chosen the period more than 2 weeks
f) When i press stake button i always get this error: "Data is invalid: Unrecognized error code"
🔥 WSX News: Flare @FlareNetworks FXRP is expanding $XRP reach into DeFi by becoming accepted as collateral on Derive for options trading and perpetual positions.
Built through Flare FAssets protocol, FXRP provides a trustless, overcollateralized representation of XRP while the underlying tokens remain secured on the XRP Ledger. This allows XRP holders to bring their exposure into EVM-compatible DeFi applications without directly moving native XRP. FXRP has also been integrated with Morpho and Mystic, opening additional opportunities for lending, collateral use, and yield strategies.
Together, these integrations give XRP holders more flexibility to put their assets to work while managing market exposure across DeFi.
Hey Hugsy, I just checked and the portal is working fine on our end. Are you already using your XRP through Mystic finance, or is this your first time trying to get set up? @cidgrad89
With Flare Smart Accounts each individual transaction that a user makes on Flare requires a transaction on XRPL. Hence each individual transaction made through Flare Smart Accounts burns XRP.
It’s not possible to get more aligned than that.
Hey Tom 👋 Not quite. The value is captured from network activity and fees generated through FAssets/MEV, then that value is used for FLR buybacks and burns. It isn’t simply selling FLR just to buy the same FLR back. @tom_flare
@LordofLord78 Hey, Just following up. How did everything go with your Bifrost and Sceptre staking position? Were you able to get everything sorted out, and is the process making sense now?
Hi! Great question. You won’t be stuck holding sFLR when you unstake, as it represents your staked FLR position and can be redeemed through the protocol. If you’re using FXRP, the exact withdrawal process depends on where you staked it, and if you need any help along the way, you can always contact our live support team and they’ll walk you through the process step by step. Are you staking via firelight or sparkDEX ? @LordofLord78
Thanks for confirming. Since you’re staking through Bifrost into Sceptre, your sFLR represents your staked FLR position. When you unstake and redeem the sFLR through Sceptre, it’s converted back to the underlying FLR, so you won’t be stuck holding sFLR. Are you looking to unstake now, or just checking how the process works beforehand? Follow back so we stay connected then I’ll follow up more effectively 🤝
FXRP is now live as collateral on @derivexyz - the largest onchain options exchange.
Trade XRP options and perps against FXRP. Self-custodial. Permissionless.
XRPFi on @FlareNetworks means having options️
@HD_Derive Appreciate the support! 🙌 That’s exactly the vision, putting previously idle assets to work and expanding real utility onchain. Great to have both communities recognizing what’s being built across the Flare ecosystem. ☀️
@bob874219256658 Appreciate the support, Bob! 🙌 Great to see the excitement around Flare and XRPFi. We’re just getting started, and there’s a lot more ahead for the ecosystem. ☀️
That’s completely fair, Lone Ranger. You shouldn’t use sFLR until you understand the mechanics and risk/reward clearly. Happy to break down exactly how sFLR works, where the yield comes from, the risks involved, and how redemption works so you can make your own informed decision. What part would you like me to start with? @lone8464
Hey, that makes sense, especially since it’s your first round. A 3-week staking period can make the reward look a little underwhelming depending on the validator performance and reward rate for that period. Which validator did you stake with this time and what’s your staking period ? @FordFocusRS_SPK
@KingKaranCrypto I have nothing to compare it to since it was my first time but it seems kinda of low to me. But I only stake for about a 3 week period we will see how it goes for the future I set it one pure in October this time around
Hey, I hear you. FIP-16 changed how FLR rewards are distributed, so comparing the current payout directly with the pre-FIP-16 numbers can make it look like a major drop. If you’re seeing roughly 50% less consistently though, that’s worth checking. How are you currently staking your FLR? @hombreingles
Hey Sean, yeah, that’s definitely odd. Getting only 325 FLR from a 1M FLR staking position is unusually low, especially if your stakes have been active consistently. Which validators are the three positions currently staked with? @bitcoinsean66
Hey Michael! That’s a fair concern, especially after situations like the Coreum/TX bridge. Flare has put security at the center of its XRP DeFi infrastructure, including overcollateralized FAssets and independently audited components. Through Firelight, built with Sentora, the ecosystem is also developing capital-backed DeFi protection designed to cover risks such as exploits, oracle failures and bad debt. That added protection and transparency is exactly what XRP holders need before putting their assets to work. @NumbersGame101
