Kolejny sprawdzian gotowości naszych służb do ochrony obywateli! 🛡️
Absolutely right President @NawrockiKn. The #PolishArmedForces#PAF are laser-focused on Deterrence against Russia, which of course means: Readiness for war. Poland is “The Model Ally,” consistently going above and beyond what America asks of NATO. Thus, America has a generational opportunity to capitalize on the strategic 🇺🇸🇵🇱 relationship. This necessarily includes, permanent assignment of the right mix of 🇺🇸forces to Poland. That’s 🇺🇸🇵🇱First.
Additionally, it’s fantastic to see the continued deepening of Polish-Lithuanian🇱🇹 defense ties in Exercise #DZIELNYDZIK #BRAVEBOAR. Poland-Lithuania demonstrate what “Right Looks Like,” in deterrence, by training combat forces in demanding exercises in #NATO’s vulnerable #SuwalkiCorridor region. @GlenHoward_GH and I wrote about these important 🇵🇱🇱🇹 cross-border defense initiatives @TheNatlInterest,

🧵Today I’m taking a day off, strolling in Warsaw’s Old Town. A few observations right off the bat. First, #Poland is #Europe’s remarkable success story. The capital is clean, safe and welcoming in a way that Berlin, London , Amsterdam, Brussels or Paris could only dream of. 1/5
🇵🇱UCHWAŁA SEJMU RZECZYPOSPOLITEJ POLSKIEJ w sprawie relacji polsko-amerykańskich i uczczenia 250. rocznicy powstania Stanów Zjednoczonych Ameryki.
Analogiczne tendencje i ideały doprowadziły do uchwalenia w 1791 roku w Polsce Konstytucji 3 Maja, drugiej na świecie i pierwszej nowoczesnej konstytucji w Europie. Tadeusz Kościuszko i Kazimierz Pułaski swoimi licznymi inicjatywami pomagali w obronie niepodleglości młodego państwa amerykańskiego. Także w późniejszym okresie polsko-
amerykańskie braterstwo broni było wielokrotnie wypróbowane i zostało przypieczętowane ofiarą żolnierzy obu narodów podczas wspólnych misji bojowych. Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej z uznaniem podkreśla rolę Polonii amerykańskiej.
Pokolenia Polek i Polaków emigrowały do Ameryki i wspóltworzyły poprzez swoją pracę sukces gospodarczy Stanów Zjednoczonych, a jednocześnie pamiętały o rodzinnym Kraju i kultywowały tradycje przodków, w wielu przypadkach przygotowując się do walki
🇺🇸RESOLUTION OF THE SEJM OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND on Polish-American relations and the commemoration of the 250th anniversary
of the founding of the United States of America
Two hundred and fifty years ago, on July 4th, 1776, the American Congress adopted the Unanimous Declaration of the Thirteen United States of America, commonly known as the Declaration of Independence. Since the very beginnings of the history of the United States, close ties between Americans and Poles also began to develop. The Declaration of Independence, together with the United States Constitution, adopted in later years, embodied the political ideals of the Enlightenment and enshrined values that have continued to inspire many nations around the world to this day - the ideas of freedom, equality, human rights, as well as the separation and balance of powers. Above all, these documents solidified the conviction that power derives from the nation. Similar tendencies and ideals led to the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May in Poland in 1791 - the second constitution in the world and the first modern constitution in Europe.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland emphasizes that a profound love of freedom and a shared understanding of democratic ideals impelled the heroes of Poland’s quest for independence to engage in the American Revolution and in the fight for the independence of the United States of America. Through their many initiatives, Tadeusz Kościuszko and Kazimierz Pułaski helped defend the independence of the nascent American state. In the years that followed, the Polish-American bond forged in battle was put to the test on numerous occasions and was sealed in blood by the sacrifices made by soldiers of both nations during joint combat missions.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland expresses its appreciation for the role of the Polish diaspora in the United States. For generations, Poles emigrated to America and - through their labor - contributed to the economic success of the United States, whilst at the same time preserving the memory of their homeland in their hearts and cultivating the traditions of their ancestors. In many cases they prepared themselves to fight for Poland’s independence and for the rebuilding of the state once freedom had been regained.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland recalls with respect and gratitude the role of the United States in restoring Poland’s independence after First World War. The position taken by the United States effectively contributed to achieving the goal pursued by several generations of Poles.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland further emphasizes that the United States made a special contribution to the liberation of Poland from the communist regime, the restoration of its independence, and to advancing the process of systemic transformation initiated in 1989. The support of the United States for Poland’s accession to NATO in 1999 was crucial to ensuring the security of a free Poland and its place within the Euro-Atlantic community.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland acknowledges the importance of the contemporary parliamentary relations with the Congress of the United States. We emphasize that the Polish-American relations, grounded in the pursuit of shared ideals, are fundamental to the security of our state. Poland is an important ally of the United States, especially within the context of the eastern flank of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. This is demonstrated by the permanent presence of the United States Armed Forces troops in Poland.
The Sejm of the Republic of Poland underscores that the Polish-American friendship is important to Polish society and is recognized as such across political lines. On the special occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America and of the relations that have developed between our nations, we wish the American people prosperity in the spirit of the ideals that have shaped the public life of the United States.

@MSkalenius@Sachinettiyil And what do you know, one of them said that he was actually invited to your wedding as you were his Confirmation witness! So, a big congratulations to you and your future wife! You are definitely in my prayers. May God bless your marriage and bless all the work you're doing.
@MSkalenius@Sachinettiyil Our Equipes Notre-Dame group has two Swedes in it and they've said there aren't many Swedish Catholics. So, when I saw your beautiful proposal and that you brought "record number" of young Swedes to the pilgrimage I sent it to them.
I was extremely happy to learn that #URC2026 is placing much more of a focus on Defense & Security than it has in the past as I believe it's instrumental for #UkraineRecovery.

I personally don't like how this all went down although being I can say there were some interesting discussions here in Poland and happy to end up here. For those of us interested in #PolishAmericanCooperation, it's not always easy but I continue to pray it stays strong. 🇺🇸🇵🇱
Great news @RepDonBacon, that President Trump will maintain 🇺🇸troop levels in Poland, impacting the security of the entire region. Your continued engagement is crucial to making the case about why the security of Poland and Central/East European Allies matters to both Europe and America.
It’s a good time to recall, that not only is America 250 this year, but 2026 is also the 250th year of the rock-solid, Polish-American Alliance, to which Poland and America have had each other’s backs for centuries.
With American force-posture in Europe now a heated discussion, it is time to plan to change from mostly “Rotational” 🇺🇸troop deployments to Poland, to “Permanent.”
For two decades, we operated "rotationally" in Afghanistan/Iraq. Those did not end well. It’s important to underline that selling all the 🇺🇸equipment in the world makes Poland interoperable, only to a degree. And, while Rotational and Permanent 🇺🇸deployment options bring deterrence, only permanently assigned 🇺🇸forces building longterm unit-unit relationships, can help Poland to rapidly reach the next level in operational capabilities.
Getting to the next level means working side by side, long-term (not episodically as we see with rotational units). We must integrate and develop our forces together, incorporating lessons from Russia’s war on Ukraine. That’s achieved via permanent 🇺🇸 forces with habitual 🇵🇱unit relationships, and rigorously exercising with our great Polish/regional Allies.
Transforming the #PolishArmedForces to a near-peer Ally (so vital to America regarding Israeli and South Korean forces), will be a game-changer for security in Europe. That’s #AmericaFirst, #PolandFirst and will significantly contribute to #PeaceThroughStrength.
Great news Deputy PM @KosiniakKamysz. The 🇺🇸🇵🇱 relationship is more than ever, as strategic as it gets!
It's time to change the 🇺🇸rotational troop deployment system to permanent. For two decades we essentially operated "rotationally" in Afghanistan and Iraq (which did not end well).
In the case of Poland (and several others in the region) you cannot find a more like-minded-willing partner, with a strong desire to go to the next level in capabilities. We need an 🇮🇱IDF, or 🇰🇷ROK “near-peer” kind of capability among our Allies on the Eastern Flank, and Poland is the center for getting that done. While America may "reduce" forces in other places in Europe, I would argue, there is the strongest case for increasing 🇺🇸capabilities in Poland, and region.
The Polish Armed Forces #PAF are making themselves into a smaller "mirror image" (almost) of the @USArmy and #USAF @usairforce. Poland fully embraces 🇺🇸doctrine and more than half of its $150B in defense modernization is for US kit (HIMARS, Patriot, Abrams, Apaches, F16s, F35s, C-130s, Javelins, and more). Poland was spending 2% GDP, almost from the day it joined NATO in 1999, and led the pack on 3%, then 3.5% and now 5% GDP defense spending. Since 2016, Poland is on a path to triple its force size (maybe more) to 300,000+
Thousands of Poles have been trained in American courses - many are senior PAF leaders. Moreover, tens of thousands of Poles have deployed and operated side by side Americans. Since 1990, (9 years before entering NATO), and still with Russians occupying Poland, 🇵🇱 begins conducting operations alongside US forces, rescuing CIA assets in Iraq (1990) deploying support ships to Desert Storm (1991), deploying to Haiti with us (1994), and Poland is with America on Balkan Ops/including capturing Serbian War Criminals (1995+)
After joining NATO, Poland supports American Ops, every time we ask and in spades. Poland is one of only three Allies side by side with America on day-1 combat Ops in OIF 2003 (only Australia and the UK show up with Poland to support America that day). Think about that, Poland is only 4 years into NATO, and sticks its neck out, at every turn. At America’s request, Poland leads the 33-nation multinational division in Iraq, and an entire Province in Afghanistan.
Poland is “The Model Ally.” Poland's defense modernization undertaking is serious, and monumental - the rest of NATO should follow Poland's lead.
Poland will not, however, be able to rapidly achieve USA-doctrinal Joint All Domain Operations #JADO capabilities without daily side-by-side integration and training with 🇺🇸forces permanently assigned to Poland.
Poland is willing to massively offset the host nation support costs for American troops. In my view, these costs should be funded via a NATO, or EU common fund as this defends all of Europe. Poland is holding the line for Western Europe, and is financially stretched, only just recently reaching the $1Tn GDP economy level (compared to their neighbor Germany, to which Poland is their shield, with a GDP of $5T).
Indeed, it’s time to assign permanent 🇺🇸 forces to Poland/NATO’s EasternFlank. A massive ColdWar “redo” is not required. What’s needed is the (1) entire Europe-focused, Vth Corps HQ (only a portion is in Poland today); (2) a heavy Division, with Abrams equipped brigades; (3) F35 Squadron(s). Btw, Poland is ready and willing to host all of this as the base, to support defense and force-integration all along NATO’s Eastern Flank. And, importantly Poland is more and more a vital 🇺🇸 defense supply-chain partner.
This is not free-riding, this is about helping to both defend, while simultaneously helping to rapidly “raise the game” of Poland, and other defense-focused, willing, super pro-American, East Flank Allies. It allows for the lessons from Russia’s war on Ukraine to be exploited helping 🇺🇸forces to better prepare for war ANYWHERE. That’s in perfect alignment with #AmericaFirst, #PolandFirst, and #PeaceThroughStrength.
@Catholic_bro@BackwardsFeet@_CatholicWest Nice. It's not clear enough to make out everyone but I see Martin Luther. I think he should be seriously studied in every Catholic school. Studying him in depth as a teenager literally kept me Catholic.

@KennethGriswold@PMAGA22@IngrahamAngle I would say watch this show." I would say Dei Verbum answers it, too. Some reading this exchange may be interested in reading it or listening to this episode. 3

@KennethGriswold@PMAGA22@IngrahamAngle It's on the Old Testament but many parts throughout reminded me of this exchange. Even the listener question at 39:00 is from a Protestant who asks what's the role of the Bible for Catholics and Bishop Barron responds, "Thanks for the question because it sums up our whole show. 2
