It is impressive what one story that is not fact-checked by SAYS can bring you. This is how misinformation spreads.

Misinformation that hit The Malay Mail, NST, BFM, Berita Harian, and more.

The evidence presented was a poor AI video, and the domain registra, Squarespace did not exist in 1993.

Simple fact-checking on the Internet Archive would have provided provenance of the domain name. It has snapshots dating back to 1996.

Easy to see that the domain was originally registered by Advanced Instruments Corporation, a Colorado-based Internet Service Provider. It changed hands, till a mysterious anon purchased it.

So this domain was not registered for $100 by a Malaysian in 1993. It was sold by a Malaysian sure, but the SAYS story is factually incorrect. What else is wrong?
