I took FSD back up to Tail of the Dragon, and it was so smooth. Much smoother than when I took it up there a year ago. Last year was a nail biter. Tesla AI has made so much progress in the last year. Enjoy this 6 minute clip of the winding roads.

FSD 14.3.4 - Mad Max

It’s hard to believe that Rivian can have an FSD competitor by the end of this year, given the performance of their current hands free assist. I see the Tesla AI team as much more talented than Rivian’s, and if it’s taken Tesla AI 10 years to reach this point, with ~10B miles of training data. I don’t know how Rivian is going to make that leap in just a few years

@brandenflasch Not necessarily, we as humans can get to our destination with the same maps FSD uses. We just use our common sense and observation to ignore the nav and go where we need to. Reasoning could be a way to solve autonomy without improving the navigation

FSD 14.3.3 (2026.14.6.7) - Standard

This was such a tight parking garage. FSD got us out, pulled up to the ticket booth, let me pay, and then drove out the right exit. I know this is old news, but it was impressive. Every time it went down a level, I was afraid it would scrape the front bumper. It never did 🙌

I don’t know if anyone else has done this, but I set up a shortcut menu for my M3 (Mark 3) and hooked it up to my action button in my iPhone 16. Now I can hold down the action button at any time and select from this list of options. It cuts down all the button clicks in the Tesla app to get to my most used actions

LG! Gonna go download and install 14.3.3. I don’t know if I’ve ever gotten an update this early in the wave cycle. Tesla AI may be sending it out to people who have been using FSD a lot. I’m at 14k miles on FSD
