@SkinBossBoyd @E_Vargas_MP @BeeNetwork The shareholding companies operate routes & being paid to do so. you do realise under public control for the majority prices have actually gone up, especially for OAPs before 0930, & own bus company weeklies were between 10% and 30% cheaper than the current Bee Network weekly!

@bbclaurak Also the quango should be in place for at least 75 years before any government thinks about selling it off, then selling off should be down to a Referendum and if any Referendum suggest people want it sold off then make it legal through a General Election.

In both places should be a new completely Government owned quango - "Post:UK" that will run Post offices (with zero franchise branches) and have Royal Assent to the 'last mile' deliveries.

@LCRMayor @MetroMayorSteve Previously Vision had a weekly for £14.50. Vision didn't win contracts (just like no independent firm has). Bee Weekly is now £21 - for many it's cheaper pay for singles which comes £20 for the weeks travel to/from work - an increase of £5.50.

@AndyBurnhamGM finally home @ 1640. I finished in Bury at 1415 and duty to finish at Bolton Interchange at 1510. I got tovthe Interchange 1550! 40 minutes standing in Bury waiting for a 471 back to Bolton neant I missed my connecting bus!
