A shambolic start to my trip at LHR. Despite using the self-service terminals to obtain my boarding pass and bag tags I and many passengers were in the same queue as those wishing to check-in at the desk.
What IS the point of the self-service terminals @TurkishAirlines ?
Back on my travels again!
This time I am off to Kenya on behalf of @bouncingball254 for projects review meetings with the Community Leaders in Esilalei and celebrating a 50th birthday!
Flying for the first time with @TurkishAirlines and looking forward to a good experience!

Walking home from school with my 8 years daughter, she was telling me of her plan to sell rocks to her friends for ยฃ5 each or ยฃ15 for 4 rocks. She will keep half and donate half to @bouncingball254 charity!
What age to she need to be to appear on @BBCDragonsDen@DeborahMeaden ?
Looking forward to taking part in this at the end of April.

At the official inauguration of the Esilalei Community Hall on 21st September 2024, two Maasai boys, who have benefited from our educational projects, showcased their talents.
Although not in the scope of @bouncingball254, I was glad to be able to reach out to another NGO who responded very quickly to visit the community of Esilalei in their new Community Hall.
Over a quarter of those examined have been referred to the Hospital in Nairobi.
The eye camp, held at Esilalei Community Hall today, was a great success and we are grateful to Lions Firstsight Hospital for providing this much-needed service to our community. Thank you to all the doctors and volunteers who made this possible.
