@jonkay Up is down & left is right.
If kids (& everyone) can't tell right from wrong it means you can do absolutely anything you wish without repercussions.
That's why it's actively harmful - it's eroding boundaries so kids can no longer tell what's normal vs what's weird.
Emma Hayes comment was idiotic.
Cape Verde got a result against Spain but isn't an advert for 'immigration' because none of their players were immigrants to Cape Verde. If anything the message is even when people emigrate they stay loyal to the nationality of their blood
“What’s my approval rating?”
- It’s bad Mr Prime Minister. It’s -43. It’s…it’s in the mud.
“Could it get lower?”
- I mean anything COULD happen but realistically-
“Kill the ponies.”
- Wha-
“The ponies. The cute little ponies. Kill them.”
- Sir, they’re endangered
“Fuck ‘em. Make the call.”
Village cricket will not survive the Boriswave. Played against a team of 11 freshies today who:
• Refused to give very obvious wickets (no neutral umpires in Div 9)
• Wouldn’t signal their boundaries (one side of the ground on a slope so unable to see the rope)
• Constantly, relentlessly, endlessly appealed for decisions that couldn’t possibly be out
This might all sound trivial but village cricket is built on trust; the trust that you will have to give your team mates out, the understanding that people will play hard but fair. That If the umpire can’t see something you assist him honestly. This is how the game has been played for 300 years, maybe longer, and now it’s going to be ruined by squealing, selfish man-children who don’t speak enough English to engage in banter, don’t play fairly and don’t stay behind to put even a tenner behind the bar.
Absolute slop - always have a check of these types of accounts (United in particular) & you'll see they're nearly always just Asian/African accounts
•What was your favorite part of the wrestling Jimmy?
•I liked it when the tramp had a long discussion in the middle of the ring with the businessman mummy!
What wrestling's all about...

The Americans did the right thing.
Why does FIFA allow a referee who wrote, “Jews target Muslims and Arabs and suck their blood,” to officiate matches in the first place?
This is not against Somalia. This is about kicking racism out of football.
We expect more from our referees.
Glad that this was called out with the @WWEGable "sorry" stuff on Monday night. This was like a struggle session & in reality the character should have told them to stick it when they kept making him apologise

Not exactly a showcase match for Zaria & Tatum Paxley there in the NXT main event with the title changing hands.
Countless obvious airshots, overacting & little obvious chemistry. What a pity - please let's not bother with a rematch #WWENXT
You only have to tolerate unpleasant but necessary things e.g. kids crying on the plane or queueing etc.
You don't need to tolerate things that are pleasant.
When you're told that 'we need to be more tolerant' for things that are unnecessary you're being told to shut up & suffer
@RealKingRegal Agreed - it's frustrating for a LOT of us that so many matches on the WWE's main roster seem like they are dances rather than fights.
The crowd reacts better when there's intensity but we keep getting fed exactly the opposite so fans instead cheer more for entrances than matches
Further to what I wrote in this piece Trevor Phillips has since made two really excellent points:
1. Starmer’s comments about George Floyd were made even BEFORE the trial had taken place. This is fascinating - by comparison JD Vance waited until after the the conviction and sentencing. Should Starmer - the lawyer and Mr Proper Process - not have known better than to risk prejudicing the George Floyd/Derek Chauvin trial?
2. Lammy used THE VERY SAME WORDS as Vance - defending “righteous anger” - in commenting on George Floyd. And yet Lammy and co have the audacity to hypocritically criticise Vance for daring to give this opinion
