This Washington Post story on Natalie Harp's family seems to have no journalistic purpose. It's driven by one source--the kooky brother who is estranged from the family, moved to Nicaragua, lives in a hut and, according to the Post, "said he is prepared to die violently for the cause of the Sandinistas." In an interview, the brother said of his Marxist revolutionary comrades: "Glory to the martyrs!"
The family is apparently terribly sensitive about the father's death in 2020 at age 61. They would prefer people not know that, despondent during the Covid lockdown, he killed himself. But the brother wants everyone to know, and he "provided an autopsy report and detailed account to The Washington Post," announcing to the world: "He hung himself in the garage."
It's not terribly newsworthy that some families have secrets, or that they have a member who "has lost contact with most of his relatives," as the Post says of the brother here. But what value did the Post see in becoming that estranged family member's megaphone? It's hard not to suspect that some at the Post are happy to malign Natalie Harp because she is a close aide to President Trump. But maybe they have some other motivation we don't know. In any event, a reasonable person would read this article and ask: Why are they telling me this?
Hey Texas, I watched Colorado turn into a blue state and within 10 years I had criminals trying to break down my door, the police unable to respond, and the legislature trying to disarm me.
Don't let Democrats win.
As if Talarico’s campaign isn’t already having a bad day, a New York Times report released Sunday says dozens of TikTok accounts were paid $4 per 1,000 views to post positive clips about him. The company behind the payments is Frontier Media. Naturally his campaign says it had nothing to do with it. The money Frontier Media used to pay for pro-Talarico social content had to come from somewhere.
These paid “clippers” weren’t a tiny side effort. They accounted for nearly a quarter of the Talarico-related videos the Times looked at in a 24-hour window. The money’s source is still unclear and Frontier Media has no visible FEC filings. The campaign’s denial is noted, but the volume of paid content is not. Follow the money is the obvious course of action. Between today’s blockbuster mental health facility claims and now this NYT article on paid support for Talarico, it’s unthinkable that his campaign survives the week let alone a debate or election.
Organic support is one thing. A network of accounts getting paid by the view to flood the platform with positive clips is another. Voters can tell the difference. The appearance of a spontaneous online army collapses once the payments are documented. That’s what the Times just did.
It should be mentioned that a man in the U.S. just got sentenced to jail for artificially creating consumption of his AI songs on streaming services. There should be similar penalties for artificially creating support for a political candidate, without disclosing it, on social media. The fraud is for profit. In the streaming case financially, in the Talarico case politically and also financially. Both are clearly immoral and should be criminal.
🚨 BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: Ohio mental hospital CONFIRMS James Talarico was discharged from the facility earlier this week
The “flu” thing was a BIG FAT LIE
Following reporting by @SaraGonzalesTX and @CarolineWren, a hospital employee told @RheinAmacher and I that Talarico had in fact been a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio, which specializes in around-the-clock mental health treatment.
While I sympathize with those dealing with mental health crises, this man is CLEARLY not suited to become a US Senator representing over 30 MILLION TEXANS.
The job doesn’t get easier after being elected — it only gets MORE stressful.
And Talarico clearly can’t handle it.
I pray he gets the help he needs, but Texans need a real representative they can rely on.
Here are the three counter-arguments of cope about the Talarico tape:
A) There is another James Talarico or someone with a very similar name who was recently discharged from that facility (pretty damn weird coincidence given the plane situation)
B) The employee was just trying to get Rhein to screw off (unlikely because she seemed patient and never talked to him before, not sure she'd pretend to violate HIPAA for that)
C) The call is entirely fake (despite the call log, previous shown attempts/call recordings to the facility, and despite the fact it is a trusted source who has never done anything like this before, and does not want a giant lawsuit on his hands)
I think it's evident that there is objectively at least a 70% chance Talarico was at that facility for some amount of time, whether he was sick earlier in his period of absence or not. The odds that the Talarico campaign would just go dark for almost 2 weeks without providing any updates, or not try to milk the flu for fundraising/political purposes is strange. If the flu was so bad to warrant hospitalization, there would be evidence of that (and possibly a "Get Well, James" rally near the hospital). The guy likely has a flu shot as he is diabetic, and I just can't see him having an "urgent care takes care of it" flu that warrants him going dark for 12 days. If he truly wanted to "not infect anyone", he likely still does telerallies.
Not to mention the plane that checks out with the airline he frequently flew arriving to Austin that morning from an airport in suburban Cincinnati (strange coincidence), and the fact that his friend in Texas had used the Ohio facility before. Let's not be naive here either way, and if more evidence comes out, this cover-up is objectively more corrupt than anything Paxton has ever done. Ever. The race is virtually over based on that alone.
🔥 Now this is how you field the questiond about the war in Iran. The crowd's response is epic.
GOP Senatorial candidate Justin Murphy's response was pure gold. Senator Cory "Spartacus" Booker's face tells the entire story as Democrats have seen no one come Out swinging like this.
"Mr. President, put your cowboy hat on and get out there and kick some
a$$...and get this done and get this done right"
Almost as barbaric as the execution of Ambassador Chris Stevens, which you facilitated, but as you so casually said, “What difference at this point does it make?”
🚨BREAKING: @SouthwestAir Southwest Airlines Flight 2094 from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale, Florida was forced to divert to Atlanta late last night after a an Arabic looking Muslim passenger onboard the plane threatened to blow the plane up with a bomb!
You can see the SWAT team apprehend the Muslim passenger while terrified passengers were forced to put their hands up.

Pvt. Francheska Velez was pregnant when Islamic terrorist Nidal Hasan shot her while she cried out “My baby! My baby!”
An autopsy confirmed she was pregnant and her unborn child also died.
Reserve your empathy for the victims.
Have no mercy on Nidal Hasan.
On the left is the press conference held by Zohran Mamdani after an illegal alien was shot by ICE while resisting arrest.
On the right is the press conference held by Zohran Mamdani after an NYPD detective was stabbed by two illegal aliens trying to rob him.
Any questions?
🚨BREAKING: 2 illegal aliens arrested after kidnapping a teenage girl walking down a street in Missouri and then taking turns raping her.
Neither of these vile child predators should’ve been here in the U.S. to prey upon our children.
Zero planned protests by @TheDemocrats.
This is Sam.
Sam was arrested for viciously beating his wife, Marcia.
Sam promised Marcia he would to return to murder her once he got out.
The St. Louis Bail Project paid his bail.
Sam beat Marcia to death 45 minutes later.
