Inspired mainly by ENTH Creations and Asindo.
I bring you, the ENTHindo X Series Pro KO Noctua Edition.
Just need the back. : )
And some other internal modification that I plan on making.
Physics based objects and dead bodies were enough for Half-Life 2 because the input was mouse/keyboard. For VR to work, humans need to be physical at all times because tracked controllers give you unlimited agency to touch everything. Action requires satisfying reaction.
Linaro is proud to collaborate with Valve and support the open source Linux development for the recently announced Steam Frame! Check out the announcement here: https://t.co/dQGqhDs1gl ♾️
@josethevrtech Ah, nice. But a bit redundant.
The idea is to free up bandwidth to have multiple inputs to the HMD. For stuff like -overlays- frames.
A basic use would be for a web browser.
Or having two PCs coned at once. One VR and one flat.
Could also be augmented with stuff running on HMD.
@SkarredGhost Why I agree and get where you're coming from.
I really don't like the conflation of popular and good.
I dont think The same people who are disappointed in the Frame actually care too much if it will sell 20M units.
IMO the Apple Vision Pro lived up to the hype and then some.
@SkarredGhost@321Timo@amorphous714 Honestly I don't really get this point.
Tho I can't talk for others, nor do I know whats in their heads. And when I get a glimpse it's often... depressing.
Boath the "value" and cost went "down". Ultimately leading to my internal judgment staying basically the same. :p
#VM6R modular design makes user can easily swap parts for maintenance and moding. Now all the parts available for you to purchase separately including the top frames, this is the time for you who want to try different layouts.
