I welcome the adoption of the General Assembly resolution on the @CIJ_ICJ's advisory opinion on climate change – a powerful affirmation of international law, climate justice, science & the responsibility of states to protect people from the escalating climate crisis.
Those least responsible for climate change are paying the highest price.
That injustice must end.
Juntos, somos mejores.

In 1987, the world agreed to phase out the chemicals destroying the ozone layer. It worked. Nearly 99% of ozone-depleting substances have been eliminated, and the ozone layer is recovering. We identified a global environmental crisis, coordinated internationally, and solved it.
You can’t solve the climate crisis without protecting nature, which is why we’re working with more urgency than ever before – expanding natural climate solutions at scale around the world.

With debt high and borrowing costs rising, governments can no longer defer hard fiscal choices. Trust is now essential to reconciling competing priorities, Era Dabla‑Norris and Rodrigo Valdes write in F&D magazine. https://t.co/tY0198rky3

The climate crisis, health & migration are deeply interconnected.
From disrupted livelihoods to strained health systems, the impacts are already being felt—especially in vulnerable regions.

A blessed and happy Easter Sunday!
Our Lord and Brother, You conquered because You entrusted Yourself to the Father, because You placed Yourself into His hands. Jesus, my Friend and Brother, help me to entrust myself, to place myself into the hands of Your Father and our Father. Help me to go beyond, far beyond, to arrive where You are. Help me to live Your Risen Life!
Amen.
