There is something deeply apex-predatory about the Apache. From this angle, doesn't it look like a weaponized dragonfly? Like doesn’t the M-TADS/PNVS sensor turret mimic the compound eyes of a dragonfly watching its prey? The helicopter's slender airframe presents almost zero profile, while its wing stubs and underbelly chain gun hang like deadly mandibles ready to strike at enemy armor! It's a scary looking helicopter.

What followed was one of the most dominant air superiority careers in military aviation history. The Eagle has been flying, and flying high, ever since.
