Friends, it was a pleasure to speak with Katty Kay on Morning Joe about the subversive quality of Christmas. Remember not to sentimentalize this story; it unfolds, in fact, as a sharp contrast between Caesar Augustus with his worldly power and the new baby King with his army of angels.
Classifying histopathological growth patterns for resected colorectal liver metastasis with a deep learning analysis
➡️https://t.co/zMcq8ArWSm
This study demonstrates the development and validation of a deep learning algorithm to classify histopathological growth patterns (HGPs) of colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) from digitized whole-slide images. The AI model achieved high accuracy and reproducibility, providing a standardized, efficient, and objective method for HGP assessment, improving prognostic evaluations and patient management.

Disease-specific survival outcomes for patients after locoregional treatment for ductal carcinoma in situ: observational cohort study
➡️ https://t.co/4tTzhdyaRE
This study compared survival outcomes for ductal carcinoma in situ among patients undergoing breast-conserving surgery alone 🆚 breast-conserving surgery with radiation treatment 🆚 mastectomy
Analysing data from 18 442 women, the 8-year disease-specific survival rates were 99.6% or higher across all treatment groups, with no significant differences observed
These findings support the feasibility of offering personalized locoregional treatment for ductal carcinoma in situ without compromising breast cancer survival
