52 Days until @CharlieCrist is elected. I’m making the case.
Ya’ll this is not a fool’s errand. Real leadership in the gov’s mansion is almost here. We can do this.
Reason 1 to vote for Crist: Will hold insurance companies accountable + tackle rising home insurance premiums.
Housing should be built with human need in mind, not profits. I'm grateful to be able to present the idea of social housing in the @TB_Times today

This week, CM @richiejfloyd voted against a resolution honoring right-wing fmr. Japanese PM Shinzo Abe & his “contributions to making the world a better place”. Thankful to have a CM with more than a CNN headline-knowledge of the world & for bringing this perspective to council.
Person from Orlando, FL calling into @NPR's @1a expressing concern of the growth of Christian Nationalists in Florida politics and our public schools. Says this is has already negatively impacted diverse populations that call Central FL home.
Skyrocketing rents. Out-of-control property insurance rates. Workers who can’t earn enough to pay the bills.
Ron DeSantis doesn’t care. He's too busy running for president.
It's time to hold him accountable.
This is DeSantis Watch. https://t.co/ymROdt2Eqp
Don't leave Florida.
They want to make America Florida.
It gets stopped here or not at all.
But understand, this is happening and it isn't a meme.
It's early fascism.
Rethink how you fight back and get serious.
We’re demanding a landlord registry in St. Pete that would let everyone see where the problems are. Inspiring to see that Oakland’s City Council unanimously passed a strong bill to do so on Tuesday! https://t.co/5xMdIwcMIM
Every Floridian should be asking why Ron DeSantis and the Florida Legislature are giving a $624 million tax refund to the wealthiest corporations in the state while allocating just half of that to the state affordable housing fund in the middle of an unprecedented housing crisis.
Since taking office, Ron DeSantis and his legislative allies have spent more than $5.7 billion in tax giveaways for wealthy corporations. That’s more than six times what DeSantis and his allies in the Florida Legislature have invested in affordable housing funds.
Holding each other in prayer right now.
They can eliminate Black representation in Congress by passing the Governor's redistricting maps, but we're not going anywhere.
So I’m sitting on the floor of the Florida House (not actually on the floor) and apparently in response to my colleagues’ protest of the Congressional maps the Wifi has been disabled and the gallery has been cleared.
Florida Republicans are replicating tactics used by authoritarian regimes to suppress protests and have shut off wifi in the Capitol building to make it harder for journalists to livestream a sit in Democrats are staging against severely gerrymandered congressional maps.
