Lots of people use sticks or converters for PS5 that get ready as a PS4 pad and most modern fighting games have the driver/licence for PS4 pads.

2. You don't want to play handheld.
3. Old dock is broken.
4. Inevitable battery death of the handheld and wanting to use away from the main TV
5. You're playing with a peripheral that's not very handheld friendly e.g. Fight Stick

Going back further...
Panzer Dragoon Saga (and Zwei) left a lasting impact on me.
Before that Sonic 3 and Knuckles, ECCO 2 Tides of time and Streets of Rage 3 were real formative games.

I've dealt with moves changing commands before, but this one... This one is messing me up.
A good 95% of the time I'm doing QCB.
On paper QCF is better due to easier Tiger knees but omg.

@RonTheTryhard They do not care about Soul Calibur.
Their newest waifu character who sometimes randomly pole dances isn't an avenue to a new SC unfortunately.
All SC is for them is well of animations to recycle for other purposes.
