@DrJStrategy It comes as an integral part of the system. It is the system itself along with its incentives that must be changed. It seems that fraud, theft and grift in the open has become perfectly normal and accepted. So why hide it? You do not need a blockchain to be honest...
@SenRandPaul What is the rationale for non citizens to pay taxes? I doubt non citizens have anything meaningful to do with the deficit and debt; if anything at all. But the narrative is useful
@allthingsf74065 It seems unwise to peg your local currency to the USD in this new era that we are entering. Argentina needs sound and hard money to back fiscal discipline and a balanced budget. Borrow from China and pay back the USD denominated debt. Issue Peso debt backed by gold
@theallinpod The FED will always be the lender of last resort as long as they exist. The only reason for the liquidity growth in recent months is that the FED removed the SLR and gave a whole lot of money back to the big banks. In return the banks will continue to buy treasuries...
@stackhodler The question is why in the world would this be a good idea? The government is already highly levered. Now the solution is to lever up even more and financially repress the mainstream further… Why would anyone truly believing in Bitcoin put their faith in the US government????
@adamtaggart Smoke and mirrors. The UK has almost no steel industry left and they need everything for themselves. It is not competitive. Few people want british cars in the US and few brits want US beef. This is not making a dent in the US trade defictit nor to the ERAS...
@allthingsf74065 Korean life insures have the exact same problem.
HKDUSD is knocking on the ceiling. This may break the peg which would be huge. SGD is very strong too.
Sell treasuries and diversify the asset base into gold, Chinese and Singaporean government bonds
@allthingsf74065 This is very worrisome. The financialization and hyper leveraging of everything has gotten out of control. I wonder how we can scale it back, or if the super organism has taken over, and is already beyond control. It will self destruct at some point!
@allthingsf74065 I think we are facing a global fiat debt based decline. Some of the money will certainly look for hard assets like PMs, Bitcoin, real estate and more. With regards to fiat I think it will be more local / regional and less USD than it has been.
@allthingsf74065 First the first time in history, human mankind has the opportunity to change the world order without war and mass suffering. Without destroying the planet. Where is the plan?
@allthingsf74065 A wise man once said "If you want the world to change then change yourself first". The US is perfectly capable of fixing its own and self inflicted problems. It will require collective pain and suffering. The oligarchs must bear an over proportionate burden. Where is the plan?
