@joeltelling Honestly, never bothered to check... And so far I've had no problem printing cheap filament from Geeetech and SUNLU with a 0.2mm nozzle, so tolerances on even cheap crap must be pretty good these days?
SUNLU says +/-0.02mm, but I think if it was really that bad I'd have noticed

@Nedu_2001 Well on any motor less than like 20yrs old it's not necessary anymore it seems, with bipolar drivers being commonplace after that. I did it on a second one too where it was easier cause it had a proper PCB in the back
