@skinnybarbie420 not silly at all!!! hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome! it’s a connective tissue disorder. it ties in with my pots. it consists joint instability, hypermobility (being double jointed) dislocations and loose joints, joint pain, poor healing, easy bruising, and gi issues
@skinnybarbie420 you have to change the needle every week if you do leave it in all week. i like to limit how long my needle is in to prevent a central line associated blood stream infection because since my port leads directly to my heart it could be really dangerous if i got an infection
@skinnybarbie420 it was definitely painful when i first got it! any slight movement and i would feel the tube tugging in my neck and chest, after a while that goes away, i don’t always have to keep it covered only when there’s a needle in! i usually only keep a needle in for 3-4 days a week
