I truly don't care when and if she read the DMG and won't give her crap for it either way. I just want to point out that a LOT of 5e players vilified older gamers so f*cking much when they suggested reading the rules, but are now cheering for this video. Ok. I see you.
Ever heard of the #DnD City That Never Was?
Wanna see it?
In 2002 Jeff Easley was commissioned for a D&D 3.5E campaign setting that was to tie in with the Book of Vile Darkness, but was never published.
It’s name?
“City Of Sin
I love the tavern, ‘Ye Ruptured Spleen’.
On top of all the other recent expenses, my desktop computer is kaput and needs fixin' before I can get back to streaming and serious work.
If you ever felt like buying any of my #TTRPG games, books & material, now would be a very helpful time to do so.

'Why Shadowdark instead of other deserving games?' I dunno, there will always be a top dog, for whatever reason. I've seen people that do similar stuff to me be more successful than me. I saw a guy kickstart a 30 page pdf adding guns to 5e once, and make 6 times more money than my 200 page project.
No point worrying about it. Just focus on your own stuff.
What TTRPG rules do you feel are "obsolete"?
As in, they worked at the time, but nowadays would be considered "bad design"?
(Other than Descending AC: that horse has been beat.)
Years back, I had drinks with a larger RPG YouTuber. They confided they didn't even like 5e, but that's where the clicks were, so they focused on 5e content. I get it, but found it sad to be so close to a dream job in your hobby but having to fake it.
I talk about the RPGs I love
@ActualWagon@JoeManganiello@WeisMargaret@trhickman Imagine new stories having new characters! Mind-boggling! Also, since this story is written by the original authors, quit whining about what fits the setting or not.
