The Trump administration’s dystopian conference on so-called “left-wing political terrorism” (i.e., expressing anti-fascist or anti-genocide viewpoints) appears to be an attempt to lay the building blocks for a kind of “fascist international.” It is decidedly not about “terrorism,” the amorphous term used by the US, UK, and elsewhere to criminalize even non-violent dissent. The fascistic tone of remarks from far-right hosts Rubio and Miller, together with a guest list that included the Israeli regime, almost the entire white world of (44) European and Western countries, right-wing countries from Latin America and Asia, a smattering of other countries brow-beaten to attend to preserve trade and security relations with the US (shamefully, e.g., Indonesia and Malaysia), and NO African countries (even those who were invited rightly boycotted the carnival of goose-steppers) seems proof enough.
Passwork, a Spain-based password manager used by European government agencies and universities, shares technological ties with a Russian counterpart — an arrangement that experts say poses a state-level security risk.

@borkedsys There needs to be a shift from gatekeeping to collective responsibility. The commons should be like air: you don't vote on who gets to breathe.
The work is making the unconditional material, not just ideal.
I work at Google DeepMind. This won't make me popular. But it's all public reporting:
2014: DeepMind reportedly sold to Google on conditions: no military use, independent oversight
2026: a Pentagon contract for "any lawful government purpose"
Not one safeguard survived intact
If anyone, after three years of US- supported genocide, aggression, extrajudicial executions, & widespread destruction abroad and persecution at home, still had any doubt that the violent lawlessness and fascistic arrogance of the US government (and its Israeli partner) was a threat to the entire world, this open declaration of unlawful intent should settle the matter. The US is expanding its unlawful attacks on the ICC, on the broader system of international law, and on the very concept of human rights. If the world does not rise from its knees to stop the global rampage of the US-Israel Axis, it will damn itself to a generation or more of unprecedented darkness. Stand up or learn to live on your knees.
