We know everyone on Elbaph is about to get killed so at least we could let them die with some dignity.

"Oh damn a Green Lantern detective series with 2 Lanterns. This is going to be great." they never explained what they were trying to investigate, and that twist at the end of episode 1 is really fucking good.
