@hankgreen Ok, so I’m 3 days late, but the answer is “[you] give good parent” - according to the great Rachel Bloom (and, btw, if you & Katherine haven’t watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, you are missing out!)

This, except I also didn’t have the energy for a whole conversation right now, and didn’t want you to expect that I would reply immediately at any other time ever, including 2 seconds from now
@SNeurotypicals For more general daily affirmations/etc, I guess I use both - I have had sticky notes around my desk saying things like, “what I need is processing time” and “just show up - you still have something to offer even if you’re not as prepared as you’d like”.
@SNeurotypicals Usually second person imperative for things like to-do lists. If I’m trying to capture a random thought or idea in a meeting or something, it may be more diary-like (1st person). Like others mentioned, though, often there are no pronouns.
@hankgreen Dude! I dunno what happened, but it looks like suddenly there are tickets available for your Syracuse show again 👊 I just got 2! Though I’m kinda amazed you are doing this the week after Pizzamas… have a great rest of your week 🍕
@dreamsofskies Oh! Yes! Thank you for posting about this. What you describe is Very very true for me… and something that I am struggling to understand and address in my 40s given that I have never lived alone. 😐
@hankgreen PLEASE DO! I am soooooo bummed I didn’t see this until about an hour ago and they were both already sold out! I LIVE in Western NY! But I’m going to be out of town on the 14th for the RIT event 😩
PLEASE RT: René (@blkgirllostkeys) has just shared a bit of her challenging journey the past few months, on her blog—go read it and show her your support (including a gofundme, link in next tweet)

@SNeurotypicals Why is that when I ask these questions in a one-on-one meeting with my boss, he treats me like an idiot… but when I ask them in a big meeting I get all these IMs and people coming up to me later saying “thank u, that point made no sense, we were all wondering the same thing”
Secret ADHD tax: Having to buy a more powerful computer than you really need because your working style requires you to have 200+ tabs open at all time.
@coachcamg @blkgirllostkeys Would love to hear René as a guest on the podcast someday BTW - she was one of the first few folks I started following here for ADHD content, which ultimately led me to @translatingadhd which I have listened to since almost the beginning! You (including Ash) are all top-tier 💯🏆
