@davidould Is this one of those 'let the reader understand' situations? Surely that's not your everyday starter...

Talk is starting again of the annual #SydSynod Under 30s dinner... Anyone in the Twittersphere who still qualifies?

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

Are we trying to break the Archbishop? It's only day 2 and he's so close to retirement!!
#SydSynod

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@thisistarajane @lanahirth Let's book it in! Spread the word!!

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

Where all them young people at?
This is my last synod as an under 30 - any dinner gathering of the associated young people of synod this year?
#sydsynod

For those wondering how to be better at this whole Synod thing, here is the often commended Synod Survival Guide by Dr Tong. A great place to start!

Some very quick, very back of the envelope calcs show a significantly lower outcome if we let parishes choose which system works best for them (sums from tables on pp391-8 vs lowest option from each)

@jmoff @churchhillsyd @abpdavies 11AM or 10:59?

@MrFafDriscoll @MrLucus89 @nathanbessant @MichaelNeate Amazing, thanks!! Could you DM me your email to pass along to her. Super passionate & experienced History teacher on her first Ext class.

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@MrLucus89 @nathanbessant @MichaelNeate @MrFafDriscoll Got a teacher searching for ExtHist Scopes/programs/ideas. Any help/direction?

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

While I'm encouraged by the debate at #sydsynod, I'm concerned that the words & actions of Paul pop up more frequently than those of Jesus..

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@sirris_83 @thisistarajane Perhaps we could hold some form of sign?

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

I'm wondering how long the Archbishop has been sitting on 'Wicksipedia'... Biding his time until the perfect moment. #SydSynod

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@sirris_83 @thisistarajane @PatriciousPro Sure, go for it!

I just assumed we'd slip a note to the AB and have him mention it at the break like past years, but that works.

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@PatriciousPro @thisistarajane @sirris_83 Given how flexible we are with 'Under 30', surely there'd be some flexibility in the 'Synod Member' criteria too... :P

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

Robert Wicks, Master of Semicolons. A truly superhuman talent! #SydSynod

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@thisistarajane @sirris_83 Sounds good!
Perhaps we could get an announcement at the end of the afternoon session on Monday...

[Damien Norris @chuck_norris_]

@KezThomas I did! Very excitement!
Though it disappeared off the screen before I could write the address down...
