The June 16th DC primary is on pace to be one of the highest turnout primaries in decades.
Early voting and mail suggested robust turnout. Unclear what he was thinking, but @AlexKomaDC's tweet didn't age well.
Reckless and possibly unlawful spending. Tax hikes.
Welcome to a DC where the left and socialists rule the roost.

The D.C. Council gave final approval to a $21.2 billion budget for 2027, but a big fight with the city’s CFO over its use of reserve funds could prove politically perilous. In @NOTUSreports: https://t.co/NWaXbSXKjG
If this quote is from someone inside the McDuffie campaign --as it appears to be-- they are either wildly spinning or much worse: the campaign didn't conduct issues-polling, or no one inside the campaign knew how to read a poll.
It's not "rare for elected officials to acknowledge when they previously landed in the wrong spot."
Good that you decided to respect the will of the voters, Zach, but the self-congratulatory pat on the back is both unnecessary and factually inaccurate.
It is rare for elected officials to acknowledge when they previously landed in the wrong spot, but that’s what I’m doing. While I originally had reservations about semi-open primaries, I now plan to support today’s amendment and join the push to make DC more democratic and representative. See my full statement 👇🏾
In 2024, 73% of D.C. voters said independents should be able to vote in primary elections. Last week, they still couldn’t.
That’s because the D.C. Council voted against funding the initiative. They could take that vote again today.
Experts agree: the inclusion of D.C.’s nearly 90,000 nonpartisan voters likely wouldn’t have changed the result given JLG’s resounding win.
But it’s the principle, some say.

@FeverPotomac@ScottGoldstein@cuneytdil@aparnaraj@tomsherwood I saw it. Makes me laugh. He can hate my shirt, but what I hear is envy.
Also, dude accuses me of making 'personal attacks' and says I'm a liar, but can't cite a lie, so he blocks me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
