@TitanofTea@BBCNEandCumbria Report the dangers by all means but not with click-baiting, fear-mongering headlines. I am not aware of anyone reporting this severity of side effects from taking actual Semaglutide or similar.
@TitanofTea@BBCNEandCumbria It's got nothing to do with being in the NE. As a prescription drug, Semaglutide is perfectly legal, across the UK if prescribed properly (within the NICE guidelines), and not dished out by beauty salons. Furthermore, what was sold clearly wasn't Semaglutide, hence the danger.
@BBCNEandCumbria For the avoidance of doubt, the BBC front page headline is, ‘Slimming drugs I thought my body was shutting down’. Before you say that the article does (eventually) point that it was fake.
@BBCNEandCumbria Irresponsible, inaccurate reporting. These people are clearly not injecting semaglutide but rather dangerous, counterfeit, illegally obtained junk. You are potentially putting people, who would benefit hugely from losing weight, off from taking these drugs.
@BigManBakar Can't turn it into points though! Firmino offers better pts per match (5.3 vs 4.4) and better value, and the Haaland comparison at 9.5 ppm is just silly!
@MartinSLewis It is criminal that these companies are still being allowed to behave in this way. 14 years ago I was pushed to the edge by DCA's but managed to fight back and defeated each one of them. They prey on fear and ignorance and need much better and enforced regulation.
@gavinbarber Perhaps after woeful performances and results playing for multiple managers it is the majority of players that need changing, not the manager again!
