“Before I became Governor, I was the chairman of Fidelity Bank, and Director of three different banks in Nigeria, and as of 1995, I was getting an overdraft of £1 million in England. There’s no other Nigerian who had such capacity in 1995. Politics made me poorer than I was”
— Peter Obi
@NigeriaStories@Hope1Boss This is why many people are calling for a different approach; Peter Obi. Taxes aren’t the problem when citizens see value through basic services and development. The issue is when taxes feel forced, with little or nothing to show for them.
@ShemariahMedia I hope you have proof bcos If VDM sues you now and you’re taken to Prison people no go talk. Focus on your own protest- make everyone focus on their protest for the betterment of the country. If anything we can say you’re govt boy, you are working for the govt. Hear word oo
“We Saw The Video Of Peter Obi Advocating For The Release Of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. And I Want To Say That We Arewa Youths And Northerners Stand With Peter Obi. Fulani Are The Prøblem Of Nigeria And Cause Of Ins€curity In The Country. That Is The Reason Fulani’s Don’t Like Nnamdi Kanu Because He Exposed Their Ev!l Agenda And B@nditry In Nigeria. So We Support MNK Release.” ~ Northern Youth Reacts
Yesterday, I had the honour of hosting my brother and partner, His Excellency Peter Obi, at my residence in Abuja.
I warmly welcomed him back from his highly productive international trip, and we engaged in frank and productive discussions on key partisan and national issues.
Our party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), remains united. As leaders, we must continue to demonstrate maturity by making the necessary sacrifices and tolerating our differences in pursuit of our shared goal.
We are resolute in this mission, and together, we shall ensure that Nigeria is OK. - RMK
“To The Nigerian Government, You Should Release Immediately, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. If You Continue To Keep Nnamdi Kanu In Detention, Then Why Can’t You Also Keep Sheikh Gumi In Detention? Why Is He Free.”~ Primate Ayodele.
