@Osint613 These guys are so dramatic about everything they do. There is a flair of drama of stickers, of rhetoric, of images of their supreme leader even on the missile. Their conviction on themselves must be low if they have to externalize their dedication so much
@sayLess66@thomasjuneau I don't agree with the Iraq invasion. Saddam however was a beast, so I'm glad he is gone. On israel - you and I can agree to disagree
@sayLess66@thomasjuneau As to why India gets nuclear weapons. We were sanctioned as well.india is a democracy, not a theocracy and that means there will be seat for rationality in our government. India has not started any war, and is focused inwards. Our relationship with nuclear Pakistan is no secret.
@sayLess66@thomasjuneau India, Iran has a good relationship. Persians are some of the nicest, most hospitable people. India is the only country that welcomed parsis. But the islamic republic has been a running a negative karmic ledger. This is my perspective. I don't hide my country - I just am curious
@sayLess66@thomasjuneau The strait needs 10 ships to pass to keep global oil prices down. 100% control is not needed, just enough to keep the world running, which is happening. April 8th - trump just wants Iran to open the strait. Today - he wants to control it. He has moved further in leverage.
@sayLess66@thomasjuneau See, it's a war of attrition and narrative. This war exposed that iran was months away from a nuke, Iran had just shot at it's own citizens became global news after the fact. Iran has shown it's red lines - Dahiyeh for one. SoH leverage has been falling for Iran continuously
@smartbuttryan@EretzIsrael First accuse relentlessly for 3 years, then say that you had no means to verify. If journalists can't verify, on what basis was the accusation? The fact that the IDF endured this accusation while doing what needed to be done. Now expecting favours. Entitlement thou name art...
@sayLess66@thomasjuneau After March 2nd 2026 - tell me which leverage of his has gotten worse? Tell me which aspect - internal US economy, global oil prices, defense of strait, degradation of Iran economy/ defense. Where has his position not gotten better. I don't really have a horse in the race.
@nntaleb You don't know how great this man is. He might have had a tough period, but Jordan Peterson is a man of infinite wisdom and courage. I don't care what anyone says - I'll stand by that
@huntymamawerk@Osint613 My lovely friend from Israel - I am one of the Indians who respects your country and admire it deeply. But I will always say what I think is true
@huntymamawerk@Osint613 When he was alive - he used to do what he said he would do. They got weak after his death. I don't like him at all, but I can comment on his good qualities
@ehsanmansuri Aren't armed forces acceptable casualty of war? I understand civilians should not be targeted, but why are soldiers exempted? Just curious, I don't endorse any needless death.
@ronaldlirumo@TheKingDavidJr@najam_ali Oil is fungible. If China buys iranian oil - there is more oil in the market for everyone else and so price drops. China is not an infinite buyer. China didn't buy when Iran has temporary sanction relief though.
@najam_ali Regime says - 50 mn barrels, round up to 70. Let's say $80 , Iran sells arab light quality + sweet. $5.6 Bn - receivable in 60 days - oil is paid late. 90 million people. $60 per person after 60 days. Rational? Spot crude is 81 now. 1.6 bn floating. Low oil prices for no benefit
