Minimum wage in the UK is £12.71 per hour. At current conversion rate that’s 22,860. Their petrol is at 3,000/liter according to him. Someone with only one hr salary in UK will buy about 7.62litrs of fuel with just one hour wage.

In Nigeria minimum wage/month is N70,000, in a week it is 17,500, in a day the worker makes 3,500, So for every hour of work in Nigeria working for 8hrs/day, the worker will make N437.5/hr

In summary, from Nigerian minimum wage, someone working for 8hrs in a day will make N437.5 every hour of work. N437.5 cannot even afford a litre of petrol in Nigeria. So what’s the comparison for?

That’s why that Governor is olodo. See the kind of leaders we have, no wonder Nigeria is in a dilapidated state
