No problem. As I mentioned earlier, . I have something bothering me that I think I may bring to your attention for possible clues to solving it.
Am currently pursuing a PhD in Political science at UNN. But the fact that I am there witnessing a rot in the system is annoying. The Dept has a system for extortion of money from hapless and students in post graduate studies. Imagine, a PG student, those of in PhD coughing out 100k to the HOD in the name of building toilet in his office. This money is collected by proxy, only in cash.
The proxy, otherwise, class Rep, chosen by the HOD and imposed on the class would pass down information and cow the class members not to speak.
Besides the #100k, another #35k is levied to sort lecturers and host the HOD and PG coordinator of the Dept.
Still, the students are being told to brace up for #45k deal per seminar presentation. And, the big one, they must part with #500k in order to secure the topic for their final thesis.
I would have kept the cool and dropped from the program but as Soyinka said, the man dies that keep mute in the face of oppression. Many of my class members can't afford these payments and as a media figure, it's cowardice on my part to keep quiet or simply withdraw.
What do you advice me to do? I know your worth in public discourse and how far reaching your writings have been.

This should serve as a lesson to other bloggers who may choose to use their platform to promote APC propaganda. H.E. Mr. Peter Obi is taking legal action against People's Gazette for a fake audio, and I am eager to see those involved in this deceit held accountable.

While we focus on peacefully reclaiming our mandate, the APC is pressuring Peter Obi to leave the country, which is impossible. The administration's bias is evident in Lai Mohammed, a Federal Government spokesman who blatantly lies about Peter Obi, shameless me.
