@princessdiorama If you were in Georgetown, the Russian embassy is wrong as it is in Glover Park 1-2 miles away. Better choices include Ukrainian (M st at 34th), Sweden at Washington Harbor (30th st also Iceland and Liechtenstein), and France on Resevoir road. And at least 5 more
@wmata Any reason your fancy screens won’t tell me where the hell we are? So I know if I have to get off? Instead you only want to tell me where I might go next, if I don’t get off.
In this case, at least I have a chance of seeing the signs in the station, but blocked often
@PenguinSix Here was my view of the flyover. Along the Washington Channel there were so many walkers, cyclists, families and fishermen, who will lose this connection to nature during and likely after construction. East Potomac Park is not just a golf course (where daughters learned to play).
@SockDem_@BarredinDC What are you talking about? Driving from Bethesda to College Park, all of the way from Flower Ave on Piney Branch to Route 1 is level grade with the roads it runs on and through. About 5 miles of the total 16 miles - so that is at least 30% at grade. Just my experience.
@KoppDC @TheWharfDC That tender looks to be a bit dangerous to navigate on the Channel. I have trouble keeping track of all of the kayaks and I don’t have a garage door blocking my view straight ahead.
@mkorman@WendyCalhoun1@MDSHA Except where they disappear at the intersection with Little Falls. And having a line on the ground was unable to protect a bicyclist on the first day of school from being hit and killed. We need real safety and we need to connect our neighborhoods by more than “major arterials”
Charging in Somers Point. @ChargePointnet why does this station not show up? Can’t use app to pay. Can’t find in Google Maps or ChargePoint map in my Volvo XC40 Recharge.
@KoppDC Pretty sure I got to the National Harbor fuel dock just before you. As my fuel filler is slow, I moved back on the dock as you arrived to make space at the diesel pump. 143 gallons of unleaded (Zeedraak - Regal 35SC)
@OldTimeDC @ngadc@dcpl@USNatArchives By the end of 1941, Washington Marina (Yacht Basin One) was there with concrete docks and a large brick building. Construction started in 1939 - not sure, but that might be visible in the water just to left/west of the fish market building. So I’m going with 1939 or 1940.
@emilymiller Formation of three jets. Not sure, but looked like F35 (dual tail, fixed wing), but perhaps F15E. Have a look. Really loud, seemed to be at about 5000 feet and had come northwest along Potomac and turned East over beltway.
Apple Watch 4 bricked by 5.1.2 update. Locked me out, would not take passcode. Unpair/reset failed. Won’t allow to reset from power off. Support wants me to bring it in.

Does it mean I am a Millennial if I eat a salad and there are no napkins? As a borderline GenX/Boomer, should I have walked out when I noticed the empty dispenser? #millennialsarekilling#wipepants
