@coherentranter @financialsamura Exactly, that's what I do (Bergen County, NJ). Plenty happy with public schooling here, kid is happy as well. Also, paying 7.5K/month for private tuition and having 1 dollar cash flow, is indeed "straining" the budget. That 1 cash flow will often be neg depending on the month.

@financialsamura Strike private school tuition for 2 kids, moving to a good public school district is good enough for me, and paying 7.5K a month ON TOP of the property tax which goes to schools, is just...something I would never do, let's put it that way, to be nice about it.

You have to find the balance that works for you, but 555 worked for me cuz i was able to space out 3 meals to stave off hunger as much as possible. Whole foods that are protein and fiber heavy to maximize satiety. Search AI
