The President of Kuki Students' Organisation, Delhi & NCR, Paojakhup Guite, recently made a shocking and inflammatory statement regarding the upcoming Shirui Lily Festival in Ukhrul, Manipur. His words were not just provocative but openly incited violence:

> "They are going to hold the Shirui Lily Festival to promote Meitei-Tangkhul brotherhood. The Meiteis will surely try to attend the festival. What our Village Volunteers should realise is that it is because of you that our land continues to survive. Therefore, any Meitei, man or woman, who comes to attend the Shirui Festival by crossing the buffer zone should not be allowed to leave -Alive. I do not care about anyone or anything, if any Meitei comes - blast them away in defence of our ancestral land."

This is a blatant call for violence and murder.
