"The true HBCU experience is "I BELONG HERE". At PWIs as a black person I am viewed as an entertainment piece. I am revered and uplifted and whole at an HBCU. On the campus of a PWI we are viewed as broken and that we do not belong. It is the opposite at an HBCU."

The culture of #HBCUs has been shaped by the H in HBCU since 1837. While snipets of it can be replicated outside of HBCUs, the culture as a whole CANNOT. #SAYitLOUD
