I am aware that I am late to the Lindsay Clancy discourse, but I've been trying to find the right words to frame the ongoing discourse in a helpful manner.

What I keep coming back to are comments like the one in the video below. From 0:36 to 1:45, the woman uses expressions like "divine feminine rising", "elevating the level of consciousness" and "to dismantle patriarchy." This is striking. It's as if she sees in Lindsay Clancy the attribute of someone who is taking part in some kind of divine plan.

A series of metaphysical propositions descended upon Nietzsche, which were given life in Thus Spoke Zarathustra. But that ecstatic work was also the beginning of his downfall, or so argues Jung in his seminar on that book. In this episode, we will go through Zarathustra's Prologue through the lens of analytical psychology and see what insights can be recovered from this magnificent but perilous book.

@donna_mc28503 I think it has something to do with the mother's grind as being accepted as one's lot in life, then once ego-consciousness unfolded. A woman started to identify and develop her masculine psyche (animus), suddenly the feminine nature is diminished and devalued for other traits.

Satisfied with how much progress I've made over the week, I can now reveal what I've been working on for the past two months.
It is a psychological interpretation of the Prologue of Thus Spoke Zarathustra and it is the most effort I've put into something as of yet.
The first half of the audio is recorded, and it's already an hour and a half long.
The final result, which should be published as audio and text next week, will likely be around three hours.

To forgo this means hell to pay, since a myriad of psychological, relational, and personal issues will surface as they have not been dealt with, and the role forces you to sacrifice, shed and update. If it's not dealt with internally, it will find its way to disrupt externally.

Even if this photoshoot may be emotionally inauthentic, it is a good visualisation of the reality of becoming a mother. Your old identity must be shed, and mourning it is actually necessary. This is a serious biological initiation that needs an update of your role and identity.

In the ancient Cult of Attis and Cybele, male initiates would castrate themselves as an act of devotion towards the Mother Goddess. They re-enacted the myth in order to enter into a mystical union with the deity.
Given that arms are symbolically equivalent to the phallus in the act of generativity and creation, here is the same ritual of self-sacrifice but for the sake of a happy marriage.
