@BurningBrule @Idonotconsent6 Because taking one tiny sample over the lifecycle of a turbine (his flight) to form a basis for whether the technology is good is a bit silly. Especially when detailed lifecycle analysis is completed before any company invests to ensure the farm is financially viable.

Okay but why do data centers use any water at all? Wouldn’t you just fill up the cooling system once and it circulates the water for years without the need for more

@EamonMelia ESB Networks (completely different to ESB due to competition rules) don’t make profit, they are a state entity responsible for distribution network. Eirgrid are responsible for the transmission network, both are funded by government through CRU which sets the budget.
