Preprints are great... in theory. They get science out fast and without paywalls. But what good is a free archive of all scientific knowledge without journals to tell you which papers are worth your time, and without impact factors to tell you who to hire?

@drvolts I find Darktable to be intuitive and relatively slick considering its open source. Though its geared towards photos as opposed to other image types.
