@lucasmeijer Tbh, it depends on the game. If you are writing a GTA VI, of course you cannot allow yourself a 1ms GC cycle in your 16ms frame budget. But if you are writing a mobile flappy birds clone, it doesn't matter if your GC takes your whole frame.

@wesbos Sounds super interesting if combinable with border-image. I design a lot of videogames website with a heavy use of border-image with weird shapes. This could be very useful!
