3 things that help habits stick:
1) Repetition. Habits form based on frequency, not time.
2) Stable context. If the context is always changing, so is the behavior. You need a reliable environment.
3) Positive emotions. If it feels good, you’ll want to repeat it.
Dear young Nigerian,
Whenever it feels like others are way ahead of you in life remain steadfast. Don’t feel inadequate. Don't feel pressured to impress anyone either. Run at your own pace as you journey through life. You are enough. You are able. You are an achiever. Thrive!
One of the things that guarantees success is identifying the real obstacles that are in your path to your goal. Jesus told the people to "roll the stone away" just before he raised Lazarus.
Some stones need to be rolled away. Identifying obstacles is not to discourage you but to let you know what to pray about and how to pray. If you "eliminate" the threat in prayer, the outcome of the situation gets reversed. What the enemy meant for evil God turns around for your good.
Achievement has challenges. The more money you make, the more discipline you need. The more power you acquire, the more restraint you'll need. You need regulation. Humans don't do well without regulation. Regulations are boundaries.
The only loyalty that matters is the loyalty to the future in front of you.
The future!
Not your bosses
Not your employer
Not your current situation
Not your current tasks & priorities.
Your loyalty is to the future.
Pursue exposure.
Search and take up opportunities to step outside your usual circle, your usual city, your usual friends, and your usual comfort zone.
It'll humble you and inspire you at the same time. It'll expand your mind and force you to raise your standards.
You’ll meet people your age, some even younger, doing things you never imagined possible.
You will naturally begin to do those things, and wonder “Ah, so this is how far I can actually go.”
Young King,
1. Read a book or listen to interesting podcasts.
2. Be well-mannered. Please and thank you are words you should use easily. Be punctual.
3. Be physically fit. Have a regular fitness routine.
4. The contents that you consume shape who you are.
5. Put in more effort into your grooming. Get that regular haircut. Take care of your skin. Brush your teeth twice a day. Pay attention to the detail.
Look around you, where you are right now, is the accumulation of your choices, decisions & actions.
You got here precisely because of a mix of everything you allowed to happen for you.
Right now, all the choices and decisions you are making, all the actions you are taking, all the habits, systems and structures you are creating will take you into the future.
Therefore, if you want to change your future,
CHANGE NOW!
If your heart is sincere, God will find a way to get to you. He will speak through nature, hack into dreams, hack into the Matrix. He hacked into the Matrix to get Peter to preach to Cornelius. He's still doing so.
Dear young Nigerian,
To advance in life, you must learn to repeatedly say NO to mediocrity and remain unapologetically attracted to greatness! To do this consistently, you must also master self leadership. At every fall, get back on your feet and press on. You’ll overcome!
Stay where hope is inspired within you.
Stay where you are regarded, recognised and supported.
Stay where you feel renewed, strengthened and energised.
Stay with those who show you how valuable you are.
Stay with those who genuinely care for you.
Stay in the place where you feel most motivated.
Stay in the arena of peace.
Stay where you enjoy growth and where the opportunities are limitless.
Stay where you see a clear path to the top.
Stay in relationships that draw you closer to your purpose.
Stay where your thoughts carry weight and your ideas take centre stage.
Stay where you feel most alive.
Movement isn't always progress.
Transitions aren't always beneficial.
If where you are checks all the boxes for now and supports your growth for the future, stay there and create a strategy that pulls you to the top.
Make Sense?
Go and be fantastic today.

If you want people to respect you, start by respecting yourself first.
There are places you shouldn't go. There are things you shouldn't say. There are habits you shouldn't entertain. There's a way you should always present yourself. There are conversations you should quietly step away from. Being intentional about minding your business is part of it too. These are some of the ways you show respect to yourself.
21 days of consciously planting God's word into the garden and soil of your heart.
The outcomes in your life are a direct reflection of the seeds growing in your heart. Are they weeds and thorns or the precious promises of God.
The kingdom of Gos is as if a man should cast seed into the ground. The man sleeps and rises and the law goes into effect.

Vague effort is the biggest thief of productivity. When you say you are “working on it” but cannot point to outcomes, you are not moving, you are performing. That is why clarity, direction and intentional living matters. It is not enough to be active; you must be aligned.
Pay attention to what repeats.
The people you often meet. The battles you keep encountering. The assessments people give you about yourself.
Even the invitations you get. Compliments, too.
Patterns are teachers.
