During the funeral ceremony of Iran’s slain leader, Ali Khamenei, a distinctive protocol drew widespread attention. Iran appeared to use selected verses from the Holy Qur’an as a symbolic means of conveying messages to the official delegations attending the funeral. Khamenei was reportedly killed in a strike carried out by the United States and Israel on the last day of February 2026.
As each delegation approached to offer condolences, a specific Qur’anic verse was recited. Each verse appeared to carry a tailored message directed at that particular delegation, a practice that observers described as the “diplomacy of Qur’anic verses.”

■ Taliban delegation: A verse was recited about victory and conquest, symbolizing triumph or a new beginning.
■ Hamas delegation: A verse was recited describing men who remained true to the covenant they made with Allah some who fulfilled it through sacrifice, others still awaiting their turn, without ever wavering.
■ Hezbollah delegation: A verse was recited stating, “Do not lose heart or grieve; you will prevail if you are true believers.”
■ Houthi delegation (Yemen): A verse was recited about the communities that remained steadfast alongside the prophets sent by Allah, showing patience and perseverance, and ultimately attaining His salvation.
■ Palestinian Islamic Jihad delegation: A verse was recited concerning Allah’s forgiveness, His blessings, and His promise of victory and support for those who obey Him.
■ Lebanese government delegation: A verse was recited emphasizing that victory comes through obedience to Allah and adherence to His commands.

Each delegation participating in the second day of the funeral ceremonies was greeted with the recitation of a Qur’anic verse carrying a symbolic message.

A well-known psychological principle suggests that “if a child does not grow up in a healthy family environment, all they need is at least one person who consistently loves and cares for them.” In my view, that person is most often the mother.
This discussion highlights the impact that parental absence particularly the absence of a father can have on a child’s development. Boys and girls may respond differently, but the effects are often profound for both.
The family is the first environment where a child experiences love, security, guidance, and a sense of belonging. A mother’s love for her child is rarely questioned; it is deep, enduring, and unconditional. In most cases, the only circumstance that permanently separates a mother from her child is death, with very few exceptions.
The father, however, is also a vital pillar of the family. He provides emotional support, stability, and reassurance to the mother, enabling her to raise children in a healthy, happy, and nurturing environment. As a life partner, he shares the burdens and responsibilities of family life. When a father fulfills his role responsibly, the mother is not left carrying the weight of two roles alone, nor is she forced to shoulder the family’s challenges without support.
The absence of a father can leave a child with a persistent sense that something important is missing from their life. It may contribute to feelings of sadness, low self-esteem, insecurity, and even a belief that they have been abandoned or are somehow unimportant. Children in such circumstances may experience reduced interest in education, become more vulnerable to risky behaviors, develop anxiety about their future, and struggle to trust others.
Some children, particularly the eldest, begin taking on responsibilities far beyond their age in an attempt to fill the void left behind. This is often not something they are instructed to do; rather, it is a natural response that develops when they recognize an unmet need within the family.
According to Attachment Theory, the close emotional bond between a child and their parents plays a critical role in shaping the child’s mental well-being, emotional security, and future development. Strong and healthy attachments provide a foundation for resilience, confidence, and positive relationships later in life.
Anyone can become a biological parent if God wills it. However, not everyone possesses the commitment, responsibility, and sacrifice required to truly be a parent.

“No One Has Truly Benefited from Ties with Israel”
History has yet to show a nation that has significantly benefited from establishing relations with Israel. In 2019, the country of Chad, which was facing severe economic difficulties at the time, restored diplomatic relations with Israel. Many believed that Israel would help improve Chad’s economic situation; however, the economic challenges persisted and, according to critics, became even more severe.
Similarly, in 2019, Sudan reached an agreement to normalize relations with Israel during a period of political instability. Sudan’s leadership hoped that closer ties with Israel would help the country overcome its crises and contribute to stability and development. However, Sudan later experienced further turmoil and conflict, leading many observers to question whether those expectations were realized.
For this reason, I have serious doubts that the northern region of Somalia will gain meaningful benefits from establishing relations with Israel. In my view, they may eventually come to regret that decision rather than benefit from it.
Even if President Cirro were to bring great wealth or resources from Israel, I would not want any share of it.

The Final Sermon of our Prophet Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) delivered at the Plain of Mount Arafat on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah

It was in the tenth year of Hijrah that our beloved Messenger Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered a sermon that every Muslim should reflect upon deeply, as it was his final advice and farewell message to humanity. It was the Prophet’s first and only Hajj pilgrimage. Although he performed Umrah four times, he performed Hajj only once.
The Sermon (Translated into English)
“O People, listen to me carefully, for I do not know whether I will ever stand before you here again after this year. Therefore, listen attentively to what I say and convey my words to those who could not be present here today.
Just as this place, this day, and this month are sacred, so too are your lives and your property sacred and inviolable. Remember that you will surely meet your Creator, and you will be held accountable for your deeds. Therefore, beware.
O People, whoever has been entrusted with something must return it to its rightful owner. All forms of usury (interest) are abolished. You may retain only your principal amounts. Neither should you oppress, nor should you be oppressed.
Do not seek revenge for the bloodshed committed during the days of ignorance (Jahiliyyah).
O People, beware of Satan. He will attempt to mislead you even through small matters, so guard your faith carefully against him.
O Men, your wives have rights over you, and you have rights over them. Remember that you took them as your wives under the trust and permission of Allah. Your wives have the right to be fed and clothed with kindness and dignity. Treat your wives with goodness, mercy, and compassion, for they are your life companions and your supporters.
O People, listen to me well. Worship Allah alone. Perform your five daily prayers regularly. Fast during the blessed month of Ramadan. Pay Zakah from your wealth, and perform Hajj if you are able.
All humankind descends from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have superiority over an Arab. A white person is not superior to a black person, nor is a black person superior to a white person. Superiority is only through righteousness and good deeds.
Know that all Muslims are brothers and sisters to one another, and Islam is founded upon brotherhood.
O People, know that no Prophet or Messenger will come after me. Therefore, understand my words well. I leave behind for you two things: the Qur’an and my Sunnah. If you hold firmly to them, you will never go astray.
Those who are listening to me today should convey this message to those who are absent, for perhaps those who receive the message later may understand it better than those who hear it directly.”
After this, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) recited verses from the Holy Qur’an that were revealed at that moment, including:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion, completed My favor upon you, and chosen Islam as your religion.”
(Qur’an 5:3)
Finally, at the conclusion of his sermon, the Prophet Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) raised his voice and declared:
“O Allah, bear witness that I have conveyed Your message to Your people.”

Qofna ha dulmin adigna laguma dulmin doonee. Ha iska aargoosanina, Dhiiggii aad iska daadiseen waqtigii jaahilyadda.Dadyohow iska ilaaliya shaydaanka, wuxuu isku dayi doonaa in uu idinku khaldo waxyaalo yar yar, uga digtoonaada shaydaanka diintiina darteed.

Raggoow ogaada in dumarkiinu xaq idinku leeeyihiin, idinkuna aad iyaga xaq ku leedihiin. Xasuunow in aad ku guursatay, Ogolaanshaha ilaahay iyo rumaysnaantiisa. Haweenkiinu waxay xaq idiinku leeyihiin, inaad si naxariisleh u quudisaan uguna labistaan. Ula dhaqan marwadaada si wanaagsan oo naxariis leh, sababtoo ah waa lammaanaagii nolosha iyo mid mar walba ku caawin doonta.Dadyohoow si wanaagsan ii dhagaysta.

Caabud Allah (SWT) oo kaliya, si joogta ah u tuko shantaada salaaddood, Soon bisha barakaysan ee soonqaad, ka bixi hantidaadda sakada, soo gudo waajibaadka xajka hadii aad awoodid.

Bini Aadamka oo dhammi waxay ka yimaadeen Aadam iyo Xaawo, Carabtu kama sarayso kuwa aan carabta ahayn, kuwan aan carabta ahayna kama sareeyaan carabta. Dadka Caddaanka ahi kama sareeyaan kuwa Madoow, Dadka madoowga ahina kama sareeyaan kuwa cad. kaliya waxaa lagu kala sareeyaa waa camaladiina.

Ogaada Muslimiinta oo dhammi waa walaalo, Islaam nimadane waxay ku dhisantahay walaaltinimo.

(الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَ��ْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينً��

“Maanta ayaan idiin dhamaystiray diintiinna, waxaanan ku ebyay korkiina barwaaqadayda, Islaamka ayaanan diin ahaan idiin oggolaaday.”

The Day of Arafah Program

Sleep early at night so that you can wake up later for worship.
Wake up before Fajr prayer to eat Suhoor and observe fasting.
Then pray two or four rak’ahs of Qiyam al-Layl and one rak’ah of Witr. While in sujood (prostration), thank Allah for safely allowing you to reach this blessed day, and make sincere supplications.
Before Fajr prayer, engage in Istighfar (seeking forgiveness), Tasbeeh (remembrance of Allah), and if you are a man, go to the mosque.
Prepare yourself for Fajr prayer and perform ablution (wudu) with the intention that every drop of water washing from your body removes your sins.
After ablution, recite the supplication said after wudu:
“Ashhadu an laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluh. Allaahummaj‘alnii minat-tawwaabeena waj‘alnii minal-mutatahhireen.”
Pray Fajr and remain on your prayer mat until sunrise.
During this time, continue making Takbeer, reciting the Qur’an, and engaging in remembrance of Allah.
Afterward, if you wish, you may return to sleep with the intention of strengthening yourself for worship, or continue with your acts of devotion and daily work.
When you wake up around mid-morning, pray four rak’ahs of Salat al-Duhaa, and continue with dhikr, Tasbeeh, Qur’an recitation, and the highly virtuous supplication:
“Laa ilaaha illallaahu wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadeer.”
Pray Dhuhr prayer and continue your remembrance, Takbeer, and Qur’an recitation, or listen to Islamic lectures while carrying on with your daily tasks.
Listen to the Arafah sermon and make a sincere effort to fully benefit from this precious day.
Pray Asr and do not stop your Tasbeeh, Istighfar, and supplications.
One hour before Maghrib, sit on your prayer mat, recite the Qur’an, and make heartfelt du‘aa. Do not forget to pray for Muslims everywhere, your country, your people, your family, your siblings, and your parents.
Ask Allah not to let the sun of Arafah set except while He is pleased with you.
May Allah grant us the opportunity to be among the fortunate people whose sins are forgiven and erased on this magnificent day. 🤲🤲🤲

It is narrated that while Imam Abu Hanifa was seated in his study circle, a man who appeared dignified and highly respected entered the gathering. Out of respect, the Imam withdrew the leg he had stretched out, despite suffering from pain. However, the man then asked a question that revealed a lack of wisdom and understanding. At that moment, the Imam reportedly remarked: “Abu Hanifa may now stretch out his leg,” realizing that the man was not as honorable or knowledgeable as he had initially appeared.
Very often, silence serves as a source of protection for a person, while excessive speech becomes a cause of embarrassment especially when one speaks carelessly, arrogantly, or assumes oneself to be wiser than everyone else.
Even deeper in meaning is the Qur’anic verse: “And know that Allah comes between a person and his heart/ Qalbi.” Qur'an
Such a consequence occurs when a person’s inner reality contradicts what is spoken by the tongue when guidance is granted, yet one deliberately turns away from it. May Allah keep us steadfast.
