Climate Adaptation Stories From Africa
📍Yatta, Kenya, has battled drought for decades. But amidst the dry plains, Bishop Titus Masika is cultivating abundance.
His secret? Water pans—artificial reservoirs that collect rainwater and sustain crops during dry seasons.
These pans store water for up to 8 months, turning scarcity into sustainability.
We at CIM are honored to partner with H.E. @GvnMutula and Makueni County in scaling up the CIM One Acre Rule model! We look forward to unlocking sustainable agribusiness and climate-smart solutions for farmers in Kiima Kiu Kalanzoni and Nguu Masumba.
#OneAcreRule#MindsetChange
Makueni County has partnered with Christian Impact Mission , led by Dr Titus Masika. 200 farm ponds in Kiima Kiu Kalanzoni ward and nguu Masumba ward will provide a baseline for the One acre Rule ( one million shillings per acre )

We @GROOTSKenya in partnership with @DiakoniaKenya and @cim_254 are launching the Rapid Appraisal Report: Pain in the Valley that focuses on Gender Dimensions in Conflict and Climate Change Affected Areas of Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet.
Dr. Bishop Masika is the CEO of Christian Impact Mission (CIM), a member of PELUM Kenya Network in Yatta, Machakos County. He has promoted "Operation Mwolyo out" which means we can produce our own food with minimal resources. We do not need rain for farming but only water.
PELUM Kenya congratulates Dr. Bishop Titus Masika on being recognized by Kenya Christian Professionals Forum (KCPF) as recipient of this year's Utumishi Bora Award, Excellent Leadership and Pioneering & Innovations Categories
The commitment to service through Christian Love and excellence which are part of CIM's core values has recently earned CIM and its Founding Director @BishopMasika recognition for the work done over the years. During the Utumishi Bora Awards hosted by @KenyaCPF
@ProfKibwana and @ayiro_p who are both partners of @cim_254 and former awardees were in attendance. We celebrate these champions who not only preach but also live out CIM's; "To spend and be spent.." (2 Cor 12:15) that all "..may have life, and life in abundance." (John 10:10).
