@Mylovanov The sooner T leaves the negotiations the better. It’s bad enough fighting Putin who at least doesn’t hide his fascist power-grabbing aims, but to have to deal with a mendacious so called negotiator at the same time is just a nightmare.
@RoryStewartUK Well said. I felt the same but when I heard Christian’s saying they would vote for a man full of hate because of the abortion issue and Latinos voting for a raciest, I started to fear the worst. It feels like the US is now like Germany in the 30’s sleepwalking into fascism.

At last the voice of sanity. Military support for Israel should be tied to their commitment to the deal proposed at the UN. Netanyahu is the root of the problem.
@BarrySoraff The Chamberlain accusation was also repeatedly made against people questioning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - it is often a way of avoiding analysing risks options and downsides
@jasmineelgamal Just because the US is in thrall to the Jewish vote until November doesn’t mean the UK can’t show integrity and push a lot harder for the diplomatic solution that’s on the table.
I told BBC News it is imperative to realise that there is a diplomatic off-ramp available *right now*, on the table from Arab and Muslim states, to guarantee Israel’s security in the context of the end to the occupation + a Palestinian state.

Every single person agitating for war at the expense of the people of the Middle East should bookmark these words from @AzizAbuSarah.
Months and years from now, every one of us who warned the West about choosing war over diplomacy will say “I told you so.”
This is the extremist Israeli government the West chooses to support unequivocally. A government that seeks to divide and endanger its own citizens and stem their brave efforts towards peace and coexistence.

“Diplomacy is the only way we can make every actor in the region safer.”
Jasmine El-Gamal, Middle East analyst, says that an Israeli response to Iran’s missile attack will not make “anyone in the Middle East safer”.

What is happening in Israel is not ok. It is horrific. Horrendous. Outright barbaric.
What has been happening to Palestine under occupation is not ok. It is horrific. Horrendous. Outright barbaric.
The way to right this starts with believing both those statements to be true.

@sumarumi@DrJessTaylor@AilsaRayner 🤔 women more than anyone are to blame. Who largely raises these men ? Women… who chose to reproduce with the genetic forebears of men who behave in this way ? Outside of rape, you guessed it - women !
@AnnieForTruth The guy who created fake documents on his laptop to try and frame George Bush? LOL..you have a short memory. If you don't remember this you surely won't remember the plagiarism from 1988...I'm sure someone here can help if you didn't know about it.
Now that prisoners - including some convicted of violent crimes - are being released early due to overcrowding, it is even more outrageous that peaceful climate protesters face jail. The Tories' authoritarian anti-protest laws must be repealed.
A new low when even @tomtugen resorts to such ridiculous fear mongering. Prisoners are being released all the time anyway (when their time is up) and the new measures specifically exclude those posing danger. This is gaslighting victims and distorting concept of #justice.
The "Antwerp Declaration" calls for an 'Industrial Deal' that is all about:
- scrapping health and environmental protection rules
- giving more public money to industry
- more free trade agreements that will further destroy ecosystems and communities.
