when i assess a meme before buying or deciding whether it's worth it, i focus on the things that actually matter.

1) narrative

is there a strong enough story to capture attention and bring new people in?

$BATON had the OG pump lore, the first pump LP pair, the name history, and it held a $1m floor without a CTO or active X.

2) community

are people actually active and willing to push?

with baton, the answer was clearly yes.

3)distribution

is supply well distributed and in the hands of believers rather than a few wallets waiting to dump?

yes.

4) meta

does it fit the current meta or have potential to frontrun the next one?

yes.

that’s literally why i decided to CTO baton.

i wouldn’t CTO just any meme.

all the little things people worry about on dips are mostly insignificant if these 4 things are there.

one wallet sold. volume is down today. someone is fuding. X is quiet for a few hours. chart looks not green.

none of that changes the core thesis.

while there are obviously much better memes than others in the @pumpfun ecosystem, and you know my opinion on that, i don’t think there can be real PvP between pump eco memes.

most of these people are just swingers rotating between bags in low liquidity without looking at the bigger picture.

the real PvP is $PUMP vs $STONK.

it’s a launchpad war.

when liquidity rotates from stonk to pump, the decent bags across the pump ecosystem should benefit.

that’s the bigger picture i care about.

i’m betting on $PUMP winning that rotation.
