@n534pe Yes it does but a discussion group for an online class looks different than in person. An online one may happen via Twitter, chat groups, discussion post, videoconferencing and emails to name a few. #DistEd534

I read a recent study that when collaboration is in an online class learning is increased. I was so glad to find an article/study that found ways to include collaboration in an online format. Collaboration may look different in distance learning but it’s still there #DistEd534
