St. Francis died on the evening of October 3, 1226, asking his brothers to sing his Canticle of the Creatures.
Eight hundred years later, on his feast day, the hymn it became: “All Creatures of Our God and King.”
Prayer of Saint Charles Borromeo to One’s Guardian Angel
My good Guardian Angel, I do not know when and in what manner I will die. It is possible that I will be taken suddenly, or that before my last breath I will find myself deprived of my mental capacities. And there are so many things that I would want to say to God, on the threshold of Eternity… So today, with the full freedom of my will, I come to ask, my Guardian Angel that you speak for me in this dreadful moment. You will say, then, to the Lord:
That I want to die in the Holy Roman Catholic Church, in the bosom of which all the saints died after Jesus Christ, and outside of which there is no salvation;
That I ask for the grace to participate in the infinite merits of my Redeemer, and that I wish to die resting my lips on the Cross that was washed with His Blood;
That I hate and detest my sins that have offended Jesus, and that out of love for Him, I forgive my enemies, as I myself wish to be forgiven;
That I accept my death as God’s will, and that, with all confidence, I surrender myself to His loving and most Sacred Heart, hoping in all His mercy;
That in my inexpressible desire to go to Heaven, I am ready to suffer whatever His sovereign Justice may please to inflict upon me.
That I love Him before all things, above all things and for His own sake; that I wish and hope to love Him with the Elect, His Angels and the Blessed Mother during all eternity.
Do not refuse, oh my Holy Guardian Angel, to be my interpreter with God and to expose before Him that these are my sentiments and my will. Amen.
The Pope’s Prayer intention for the month of October is to pray for those who suffer with mental illness:
“God of life, you know, the innermost depths of our hearts, the light and shadows within us, the silent wounds that sometimes no one sees.
Today we bring before you, our brothers and sisters, who struggle with challenges to their mental health, who suffer in solitude with anxiety, depression, or any other mental illness. You call them by name with tenderness, and in you, they find dignity and hope.
Forgive us for the times we have looked the other way, feeding the stigma and discrimination of persons with mental illnesses.
May your church be an open house, a safe space, where everyone has a place, a community that accompanies and never excludes, that listens without judging, and draws near without fear.
We pray to you, Lord, for those who care, professionals, family members, volunteers, men and women who, with patience and love, build bridges of understanding and comfort. Give them strength and compassion to sustain others.
Send your spirit upon us, that we may learn to welcome and integrate, care for mental health, into the life and ministry of our communities and of the whole church, and thus become a living sign of your mercy. Which never abandons and always restores.
Amen.”

🚨 DR. WILLIAM MAKIS SAYS THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT IVERMECTIN DOSING GRAPH HE'S CREATED.
Not a new chemotherapy drug.
Not a breakthrough immunotherapy.
Not a billion-dollar cancer treatment.
Just one simple dosing strategy.
According to Dr. William Makis, this is the dosing framework he believes everyone researching repurposed medicines for cancer should understand first.
And it all starts with one number.
📌 1 mg/kg/day.
Before explaining why, here's the dosing framework Dr. Makis discusses.
📊 The Four Ivermectin Dosing Ranges
🟢 Low Dose: ≤0.5 mg/kg/day
Used for cancers in remission, strong family history, genetic predisposition, prophylaxis, and lower-dose protocols discussed in published case reports.
🟡 Medium Dose: 1.0 mg/kg/day
Dr. Makis' recommended starting dose for most cancers.
🔵 High Dose: 2.0 mg/kg/day
Discussed for very aggressive cancers, including leukaemia, pancreatic cancer, and some brain cancers.
🔴 Very High Dose: ≥2.5 mg/kg/day
Discussed in selected reported cases involving extensive metastatic disease or extremely poor prognosis, where temporary visual side effects have also been reported.
Now here's why Dr. Makis believes 1 mg/kg/day deserves the most attention.
After reviewing laboratory research, published studies, and numerous case reports, he says this is the starting dose he recommends for most cancers.
According to Dr. Makis, research has investigated Ivermectin across a surprisingly wide range of cancers, including:
• Breast cancer
• Colon cancer
• Lung cancer
• Pancreatic cancer
• Kidney (renal cell) cancer
• Gastric cancer
• Leukemia
One exception stood out.
Lymphoma.
Dr. Makis says he has found very little published research involving Ivermectin and lymphoma.
That doesn't mean it doesn't work.
It simply means the evidence is currently limited.
❓What does 1 mg/kg/day actually look like?
For someone weighing 60 kg (132 lbs)...
That's approximately 60 mg of Ivermectin every day.
Equivalent to:
💊 Five 12 mg tablets
OR
💧 About 6 mL of liquid Ivermectin, roughly one teaspoon.
According to Dr. Makis, that's where he recommends starting for many cancers.
Can lower doses still have an effect?
✅ He believes they can.
Dr. Makis discusses a published ovarian cancer case reported by Dr. Tess Lawrie.
The dosing chart lists the patient as receiving 12 mg of Ivermectin per day. During his discussion, Dr. Makis explains that this was approximately 0.2 mg/kg/day, placing it within the chart's Low Dose (≤0.5 mg/kg/day) range.
📉 According to the case report, the patient's CA125 tumor marker reportedly fell from 288 to 22 after two months.
That case is one reason Dr. Makis believes Ivermectin may have anticancer activity even at lower doses.
However...
He also believes the available evidence suggests the effect is dose dependent.
In other words...
Higher doses may produce greater effects, although more clinical research is needed.
What about the most aggressive cancers?
• Pancreatic cancer
• Leukemia
• Brain cancer
For cancers like these, Dr. Makis discusses doses around 2 mg/kg/day in selected situations.
He notes that Ivermectin crosses the blood-brain barrier, although not very efficiently, which is one reason he says higher doses may be considered for some brain cancers.
He also discusses a case reported by Dr. Allan Landrito.
According to Dr. Makis, a physician with terminal gallbladder cancer reportedly took 2 mg/kg/day for 14 months.
He says her cancer eventually disappeared.
She experienced temporary visual side effects that resolved after a few days.
❓How high have reported doses gone?
According to Dr. Makis, he has seen reported doses as high as 2.5 mg/kg/day.
He references patients treated by Dr. Shankara Chetty who reportedly used those doses without long-term side effects, although some experienced temporary visual disturbances that later resolved.
One point Dr. Makis returns to repeatedly...
Long-term use.
He references the Castro study involving children with leukemia who reportedly received Ivermectin for six months without long-term side effects.
He also discusses anecdotal reports of adults taking it daily for more than a year without long-term toxicity.
So why aren't there larger cancer trials?
Dr. Makis believes one of the biggest obstacles is economics.
Because Ivermectin is an off-patent generic medicine, he argues there is little financial incentive to fund large clinical trials.
Whether future research ultimately confirms or challenges these ideas remains to be seen.
But Dr. Makis' message is remarkably simple.
One graph.
One dosing strategy.
One starting point.
📌 1 mg/kg/day.
Because the conversation isn't just about Ivermectin anymore.
It's about whether repurposed drugs deserve the same level of scientific investigation as newer therapies.
🗨️ Do you think inexpensive repurposed medicines like Ivermectin deserve larger, well-designed clinical trials for cancer?

Sister Mary Savio’s family shared an update and video from facebook:
From Anne Kimpel: Thank you to everyone from my family for the prayers. Please continue them. Sister Mary Savio has made it through the first two procedures, the spine prosthetic and May-Thurner compression. Everything is stable. The doctors are going to continue with the next two procedures. Details on procedures here: https://t.co/NjdJEJ2JaU
The Sisters are once again asking for prayers and support as Sister Mary Savio continues her journey. She is preparing for another serious surgery. May God’s will be done.
Sister Mary Savio is our First Communicant instructor and manages Flex courses at QAS. She has struggled with her health for the past several years. She had surgery in June for Intercranial Hypertension and compression of the jugular veins at the brain stem, which surgery was successful giving her real relief.

NESSUNO VIDE NULLA…

Friends, it was one of the signal privileges of my life to preach the homily on the vigil of Archbishop Fulton Sheen’s beatification. I reflected on his life through the three paths of friendship with Jesus Christ that we see embodied in him: the breakthrough of grace, the knowledge that one is a sinner, and the path of mission.
As we prepare to celebrate his beatification later this afternoon, I invite you to watch my full homily.
St. Padre Pio’s favored prayer of petition... ⤵️
🙏 Padre Pio’s feast day is September 23.
When someone asks us to pray for a special intention, most of us turn to a prayer we already know. Some people pray the Rosary. Others say an Our Father or simply speak to God from the heart. St. Pio of Pietrelcina, known to many as Padre Pio, also had a prayer he often used when praying for others.
Each day, Padre Pio received many requests for prayers, both from people who came to see him and from letters sent from all over the world. He took these requests seriously and brought them to God with great faith. Over time, many people shared stories of powerful graces and answered prayers they believed came through his intercession.
The prayer Padre Pio often prayed was not written by him. It is usually attributed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a French nun from the 1600s who received visions of Jesus and helped spread devotion to the Sacred Heart.
This prayer is commonly called the Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Many people love this novena because it places their needs directly into the Sacred Heart of Jesus, trusting in His mercy, love, and compassion. At the same time, it reflects true Catholic prayer by surrendering every request to God’s will, knowing that God always answers in the way that is best for our souls.
Padre Pio understood that prayer must be offered with real faith and humility. God is not someone who simply grants wishes. He is a loving Father who gives His children what they truly need, even when it is not what they expect.
Below is the traditional prayer used in this novena, prayed with trust in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and confidence in His mercy:
I.
O my Jesus, You have said:
“Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.”
Behold, I knock, I seek, and I ask for the grace of
(here mention your request)
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
II.
O my Jesus, You have said:
“Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in My name, He will give it to you.”
Behold, in Your name, I ask the Father for the grace of
(here mention your request)
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
III.
O my Jesus, You have said:
“Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”
Encouraged by Your infallible words, I now ask for the grace of
(here mention your request)
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted,
have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of You,
through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your tender Mother and ours.
Amen.
Hail, Holy Queen…
St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.

I see a lot of arguing from experts about who goes to heaven and who doesn’t.
Most seem quite confident that if you don’t believe like they do, you will go to hell.
I invite you to remember that that judgment does not belong to us.
Not one person reading this would’ve predicted what Our Father did through Jesus or how He did it.
Not one of the people boldly proclaiming who will go to hell would be capable of praying “Father forgive them, they know not what they’re doing” from the cross.
Not one of them remind you to wash the feet of those who would betray and abandon you at your time of greatest need.
If the life, death and resurrection of Jesus doesn’t convince you that you have no idea of the mind of God or the limits of his mercy, then you have no place taking his job at judgment.
You may have memorized the Bible, but so did the devil.
You may know your catechism backward and forward, but so does the devil.
Most Christians don’t need more information, they need more humility.

🕊️ Our Lady revealed to St. Bridget seven particular graces that she would obtain from her divine Son those who honored her Sorrows:
📆 September 15: Feast Day of Our Lady of Sorrows
1 → I will grant peace to their families.
2 → They will be enlightened about the divine Mysteries.
3 → I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.
4 → I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.
5 → will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.
6 → I will visibly help them at the moment of their death—they will see the face of their mother.”
7 → I have obtained this grace from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness, since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son will be their eternal consolation and joy.
Note: These are among the greatest promises ever attached to a devotion. God Himself willed it this way… out of His tender care for the sorrows and sufferings of His Mother. That’s how deeply He loves His own mother.
