@AHTCCoalition@EmilyCadik Great conference AHTCC! Major developers and investors in attendance, key subjects discussed, and excellent networking opportunities.
Right now, ADOH Director Joan Serviss and staff are in Scottsdale for the @AHTCCoalition annual meeting, attending educational sessions on the most pressing issues facing the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, serving on panels, and talking about housing issues impacting AZ.
Right now, ADOH's Ruby Dhillon (far left) is participating in a panel at the @_AAED Fall Forum in the @CityofMaricopa on rural economic development. Finding alternative solutions to develop needed housing in rural Arizona is a top priority & ADOH is sharing some of our programs.
Over the weekend, ADOH Deputy Director @cindys632 Stotler attended the grand opening of @CCArizona’s “Center for Help and Hope” in @Bullheadinfo. The center includes 57 beds with separated wings for families and veterans, on-site supportive services, and a full service kitchen.
@AZHousing@GormanUSA We are very impressed with the scope of the GSA study and their collaboration with the community to help plan for priorities like affordable housing.
Big thank you to @maricopacounty Supervisor Clint Hickman for providing ADOH Director Tom Simplot a personal tour of @hickmanseggs “Reentry Community of Hope” which offers safe, individual housing for men/women recently released from prison who accept employment at Hickman Farms.
Tom Simplot @ADOH_Director speaking at the signing of a “good neighbor” agreement for Project Haven in Phoenix, the ADOH-funded homeless shelter @CASS_AZ is creating for seniors. The event signifies a commitment to provide a safe/secure project for neighbors and seniors in need.
