Three of the many key principles the Trump EPA proudly advances every day:
-Protecting the Environment and Growing the Economy is not a binary choice. We can and must choose both!
-Cooperative Federalism must be pursued whenever common ground can be found with states, because states and local communities know their land, air and water better than bureaucrats in Washington, DC.
-There is just one best reading of federal statute, especially after the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Loper Bright, and it’s imperative that EPA fulfills, prioritizes, and adheres to its core statutory obligations.
It was great to be at New River Electrical yesterday in Granville, Ohio, a 100% employee-owned American company experiencing rapid growth while the Trump EPA Powers the Great American Comeback.
Pesticide detection ≠ risk. 🍎🔬
As our Senior Manager of Food Safety and Predictive Analytics explains, today’s tools can detect traces at parts per billion—even trillion. But presence alone doesn’t determine harm.
Scientists evaluate detected levels against strict, science-based safety standards to assess real risk.
When it comes to food safety, it’s not just about what’s detected. It’s about how much.

We appreciate @EPA’s rigorous review process & approval of new products to help farmers grow crops for food, fiber & renewable fuel while contributing to sustainability goals. Farmers are dedicated to caring for our land & natural resources. Tools that help do that are important.
The Trump EPA has been making tremendous progress at US ports to ID and stop illegal foreign chemicals, HFCs, uncertified knock off aftermarket vehicle parts, and much more. I was at the Port of LA meeting with @EPARegion9 inspectors and their counterparts at Customs and Border Protection where they are working diligently on this important mission to halt the importation of illegal foreign pesticides and other threats to American families.
In response to the Executive Order on Advancing Regenerative Agriculture and Strengthening American Farm Resilience, CLA emphasized that science-based decision-making and farmer access to a full toolbox, including regenerative practices, precision agriculture, integrated pest management, and modern crop protection technologies, are essential to a resilient, productive food system.

States like New York (which is vastly rich in untapped energy resources) have absolutely no good logical reason whatsoever to be ramping up a foolish dependency on foreign countries and foreign companies to supply energy needs.
Farming isn’t easy. #Pesticides play an important role in protecting our nation’s food supply. These tools help farmers grow healthy, affordable, and abundant food for American families.

How do farmers grow food while making the most of every drop of water?
Western Growers recently toured the Salinas Valley with Cultivate California to learn how growers are using technology, innovation and water recycling to improve water efficiency while maintaining a reliable food supply.
Thank you to the farmers, water leaders and influencers who joined us and offered a firsthand look at agricultural water stewardship in action.

Californians are paying attention to agriculture, and they're clear about what matters.
More than 75% of voters support pausing or scaling back regulations impacting California agriculture.
At the same time, there's overwhelming agreement on priorities:
- Protecting a safe, reliable food supply
- Ensuring adequate water for farms
- Supporting a stable and affordable workforce
Agriculture isn't a partisan issue. It's a shared priority.
Do you agree with these priorities? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
Nothing infuriates an uninformed Congressional Dem more than when they realize they voluntarily triggered a debate with someone who actually knows what they are talking about, reads federal statute and adheres to Supreme Court precedent. Today’s self-implosion by @rosadelauro was quite remarkable to witness. Without apology or regret, I will always adhere to the best available reading of federal statute pursuant to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Loper Bright.
CropLife America President and CEO Alexandra Dunn recently discussed the annual #BeSure! campaign with @970WDAY@WAGinFocus →
“Growers today have such an incredible opportunity to share with the public that they are the primary stewards of the land, and their livelihoods depend on preserving the natural resources for the next generation.
Every grower that I have had the privilege of spending time with... wants to not only pass that land on to their family, but work that land for many years to come. For that reason, the BeSure! campaign puts together generations of agricultural knowledge with cutting-edge science, innovation, and stewardship practices.”

In Gonzales County, Texas, I participated today in a roundtable with @TexasFarmBureau and local farmers to hear directly about their top issues. One of the crucial focuses was on all the great steps the Trump EPA has been taking to tackle faulty DEF systems.
Aug 2025: New guidance massively reversing deratements
Feb 2026: Demand letter for data from manufacturers on DEF sensor failures, and new guidance to restore farmers’ Right to Repair their own equipment
Apr 2026: New guidance removing DEF sensors
Up Next: Proposing a new NOx rule to completely eliminate DEF deratements altogether.
We are doing everything possible to the MAXIMUM extent allowed under the current law!
