See you in your dreams.
Filmmaker Chuck Russell has passed away at 74.
Chuck Russell directed The Blob & Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors in the 1980s, and later directed The Mask, Eraser, Bless the Child, The Scorpion King, and Witchboard (2025).
A horror legacy that will never be forgotten.
Zach Cregger addresses criticisms of including modern phones & snow in his ‘RESIDENT EVIL’ film.
“I took liberties to tell a story that I wanted to tell & make the movie look the way I wanted it to look… I think it looks really fucking cool to see a horror movie in the snow.”

Hall H at SDCC: Zach Cregger says he's never seen any of the previous RESIDENT EVIL movies. He's only been concerned with the games. He loves the survival aspect of them. But he adds, "I didn’t take a story from the games and turn that into a movie...That would be a losing endeavor."
Zach Cregger on his upcoming Resident Evil Film:
"I'm definitely not trying to be completely obedient to the lore of the games. I'm trying to tell a story that just feels authentic to the experience you get when you play the games."
"My favorite thing about them is that moment in every game where you're standing at the mouth of a dark passage, you know something horrible is going to happen, you have one shotgun shell left, and no choice but to move forward."
