We are now officially part of the @PacBio team! Learn more about how our combined capabilities will accelerate efforts to make sample extraction and library preparation easier for customers. https://t.co/MbItaCNBPJ
@OWallerman@kirk3gaard@gaworj One trick you can try with low conc is to increase the conc by reducing the volume. It's a little tricky but you can do SRE with as little as 5-10 uL of sample.
@kirk3gaard@gaworj Try going in with as high a concentration as possible. The recovery efficiency for small fragments is heavily influenced by concentration.

@CrystationalBio@OmicsOmicsBlog Sorry to hear this!😥 The UL protocol is one of the more challenging protocols, especially if testing a new sample type. We will reach out and see what we can do help.
The human genome contains some incredibly repetitive stretches of DNA that are hard to read (i.e., to sequence). @Genome_gov has been funding start-up companies to develop technologies for sequencing such complicated regions of DNA.
Startups may be synonymous with Silicon Valley, but so many have gotten off the ground thanks to govt support. Enjoyed exploring how "complete genomes" are becoming a reality through this lens @circulomics@ArimaGenomics@DTGenomics
A wonderful article that discusses not only how @genome_gov SBIRs enabled us to turn small ideas into cool products but also how it seeded academic industrial collaboration on projects such as @HumanPangenome. We also met great friends along the way! NIH SBIRs rock!
Small businesses create opportunities for new technologies and initiatives. In genomics, one of the crucial goals is to make it easier and more efficient to sequence genomes and have high-quality sequences that represent all ancestries.
