Secure land rights are the foundation of sustainable development in Kenya’s drylands. Community Land Management Committees (CLMCs) play a crucial role in ensuring that communities have a voice in how their land and resources are governed.
@DLCI_Kenya supported the election of the Leheley CLMC, reinforcing community-led governance and sustainable land management. Through CLMCs, communities can:
✅ Manage and protect communal land from external threats
✅ Resolve land disputes peacefully and equitably
✅ Ensure inclusive decision-making by involving women and youth
✅ Enhance climate resilience through sustainable land use practices

Yesterday, President Kagame turned 67 years. But because he has lived a good and fulfilling life of a tight-knit family, regular exercise, good diet, great friends and a dedication to serving others, he has not aged. His 67 is the new 40. So, happy 40th birthday our PK!
On Friday, we hosted the Consultative Workshop on Community Land Registration in Isiolo, with participation from Cherab, Charri, and Kinna communities.

Looking forward to hearing another voice of civil society. LongFormRw, thank you for keeping your promise and interest in engaging in Rwandan civil society. This new energy will definitely bring revolution in civil society towards meaningful and sustainable localization.
Questions being raised relate to policy implementation. The RNP is playing very well its role of intervention in national policies implementation. RDB may wish to advise otherwise. Otherwise, the RNP is exercising its mandate of law enforcement, which RNP is very good at!
@SannyNtayombya@CHOMADrw@Rwandapolice Pollution noise in residential area is inappropriate. So it would be better for RDB and other concerned institutions to clearly indicate places in town where such activities are authorised 24/7 under certain limits for noise pollution

1. Just returned from a trip back home where I witnessed the power of transformational leadership and how it impacts society in a manner that probably academics and scholars are yet to document.
One Western Diplomat, after traveling on a fact finding mission in DRC and Rwanda, asked us as members of civil society "How has it been done in Rwanda, for equal mobilization to be achieve - from lowest level to the topmost". This is the main secret of the RPF Chairman👊
