@JayaGup10 This debate gets to a stubborn problem in public benefit program delivery: decision traces key to practice improvement get scattered across chats, case notes and adjudication tools. My product teams set out to explicitly model decision trajectories; CRM/ERP platforms fall short.
Boglands are strongholds of resistance. They often appear in film and literature to introduce complex emotion and test or build character. To love a bog is to love strength that is wild, rugged, and laughs at conformity. Please spread awareness- these special places need our help
Today is #WorldWetlandDay but EVERY DAY is a day to value and protect these systems that store carbon, clean our water, prevent flooding, and harbor incredible biodiversity. Please share to battle against the wetlands-as-wastelands mentality.

Bog word of the day is ombrotrophic. Ombros (Greek)= rain shower; Trophic from trophikós= nutrition. Bogs (unlike other wetlands like fens) are ombrotrophic & receive all water & nutrient inputs from precipitation. This fosters unique chemistry & species like meat eating plants.
A legend - who made quite a mark with grace and humility. Working at the Tattered Cover (Cherry Creek, almost 30 years ago) will always be one of the greatest privileges and joys of my life.
It is with deep sadness that we inform you about the passing of the literary force behind Tattered Cover, Joyce Meskis. Joyce passed away on December 22 surrounded by her family. We are coming up with ways to honor Joyce and will keep you apprised of all new information 🙏

My goal is to change the way people think about boglands. Please help!
Did you know that being in a bog means standing on ~5,000 yrs or more of carbon-storing power, which has caused planetary cooling? Trust me, we want and NEED bogs on our side. 1/
The Gabriel Garcia Marquez Library just opened in a working class neighborhood in Barcelona. It’s magical. It’s real. And it’s the kind of place that makes you wonder why every city doesn’t give its residents palaces for the people. #library

RIP Kathleen Booth, who Invented the first assembly language.
She was 100 years old, and I have not seen anything in the news about it, unfortunately. With her husband, they formed the smallest computer group in the UK. Respect!
