Louise Thompson made her name on Made in Chelsea. Now, Louise has become an unlikely – and effective – campaigner for better maternity care in the UK, having nearly died after the birth of her son, Leo, in 2021
Find out how Louise successfully lobbied to create a maternity commissioner after suffering a near-fatal haemorrhage 👇

There is an emergancy debate today on the early release of prisoners like my serial rapists.
Thank you so much @KemiBadenoch@CPhilpOfficial@NJ_Timothy and @_RobbieMoore for pushing this because this decision has turned my life upside down, aswell as thousands of other victims around the country that are sat in fear and being retramatised once again by the system basically diminishing the horrors of what happened to them.
Rapists and pedophiles should not be benefitting from the new early release scheme, these crimes are some of the worst imaginable and the punishment should reflect that.
Spain’s Prime Minister is deeply unpopular in every poll.
His new mass-amnesty-for-migrants policy is deeply unpopular in every poll.
The policy wasn’t even hinted at in the manifesto on which he was elected.
Yet, unbelievably, he thinks he has the right to irreversibly and fundamentally alter the very make up of an ancient nation without so much as consulting the people via referendum or election.
It is hard to imagine a more imperious disregard for the people by a politician employed to serve them
This evening, 12 people came together for our parental domestic homicide online focus group. All with lived experience.
The group brought together adults who experienced the unimaginable as children – their father killed their mother and was sent to prison – alongside those currently caring for, or who have cared for, children affected by femicide
Together, their experience, insight and expertise will help shape the future of support for children and families affected by domestic homicide, ensuring services and policy are informed by those who understand this journey better than anyone.
A heartfelt thank you to Professor John Devaney for joining us this evening. Professor Devaney's internationally recognised research into children bereaved by domestic homicide, alongside the insight and expertise shared by those in the room, will help drive meaningful change for children and families.
Labour has spent more. Borrowed more. Taxed more. Regulated more.
The result? Slower growth, weaker business confidence, and rising debt.
Britain needs a radical change of direction - not more of the same.
Great to introduce @kemibadenoch this morning 👇🏻
If anyone sees any sensitive pictures of me on any social media will you please inform me and report to the police. There are concerns there are going to be some photos posted in further attempts to humiliate me and further violate me. Please report if you do see any

Well done W2W!
It is brilliant to have an organisation doing outreach, building confidence and friendships that support women into politics.
Quality not quotas, that’s how we do it.
Families’ disposable incomes are now worse off than they were before Sir Keir Starmer came to power, new figures show, breaking one of the Prime Minister’s key pledges.

How many shops on your high street are linked to organised crime? How many shops linked to crime gangs are sponsoring visas?
We don't know.
So I've written to the Home Office and asked for the full facts on how high street shops are enabling gang crime and immigration fraud.

Here’s Makerfield MP Andy Burnham leaving by a side entrance moments after his speech today. I think it is appalling that he would not take questions from us journalists. He will be made Prime Minister of our country three weeks today. More coverage and analysis at @GBNEWS.
Anyone else feel that it is not right or proper that the man seeking the most important executive job in the country should be allowed to take over without an interview or serious examination of his suitability, temperament and credentials?
Do you recognise these two?
West Midlands Police want to speak with them in connection with a fraud investigation where a man was fraudulently convinced to hand over his bank cards.
The man innocently handed his cards over to what he thought was a secure courier from his bank. However, the people he handed them over to went onto spend over £3,000 on goods in Birmingham city centre, where an iPhone was bought and cash withdrawals were made.
If you can help with the investigation, please call 101 quoting crime reference number 20/236153/26.
If you want Nigel, vote for Nigel.
If you want change, vote Conservative.
Overwhelming support from the general public on Kemi’s leadership to do no deals with the Reform UK party.
I stand with her.

The Defence Secretary resigned 3 weeks ago because he was being forced to make decisions that would make our troops and our country less safe.
Today Labour is publishing a Defence Investment Plan that is barely half what the armed forces say is needed, and well below what our allies are spending.
Starmer is no longer the real Prime Minister. But he’s underfunding our military in his search for a ‘legacy’. If Andy Burnham has signed off on this, then he too is culpable of putting our service personnel at risk with this weak plan.
We need to cut benefits to fund our armed forces. It doesn’t matter who leads them, the problem is Labour MPs who won’t do what is necessary to defend our country.
